“The Lord raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; He seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor. For the foundations of the earth are the Lord’s, on them He has set the world. He will guard the feet of His faithful servants, but the wicked will be silenced in the place of darkness. It is not by strength that one prevails, those who oppose the Lord will be broken. The Most High will thunder from heaven, the Lord will judge the ends of the earth. He will give strength to His king and exalt the horn of His anointed.” 1 Samuel 2:8-10. That was the testimony of Hannah, God raises the poor, lifts the needy, seats them with princes, gives them honor and inheritance. Your end will glorify God as long as you keep your faith and mind in Him while praying and expecting His blessings. God had plans for Hannah even when such plans were not revealed early making Hannah cry with pains and constant expectation. But God finally turned her situations around, gave her a son whom He also had plans for and Hannah never knew.

While Hannah was planning for herself to have a child, praying to God to take way her sorrow and shame, God was planning to have a leader through her, to have a priest in the child, and to have a successor who will stand up and intercede for His people and God did not fail in His plans for Hannah and for Samuel. God has plans for you irrespective of your situation right now and the expectations in your heart; He also has plans for your children, for your spouse, and for your family irrespective of what is happening to them right. He knows how to turn things around and to make people what He wants them to be, commit them to God in your prayers every day as you pray for yourself and your current situation. It is interesting to note that our lives, our ways, and our future had been planned by God before we were conceived in the womb and most of these plans are not revealed to us or to anyone in any way and many are yet to be fulfilled, but I am very certain that God will work us through until we see ourselves fulfilling all of His plans without having to labor extraordinarily to fulfill them. All we have to do is to understand that despite all the odds we face each day, God has better plans for our lives though we not know or see or understand the plans now, they will be fulfilled. Hannah never knew she will give birth to a priest and Samuel never knew God will make him a priest until that was fully fulfilled.

Money, education, wealth, associations, locations, and knowledge are good and we work daily to have them, but they all have limitations and strings attached to having them, but there is nothing on earth to be compared to the plans of God for one's life, and no life is as meaningful as having to see yourself, your children, your family, your friends and others fulfilling those plans of God.

It was not David’s skills in music or oratory or strength against the lions or his victory against Goliath that took him to the throne as King in Israel, it was God’s perfect plan for his life and executed perfectly by God by taking him through those situations. I want you to know that God has plans for you and only Him knows how and when to take you through the process, even what you are going through right now might be the process He intended so you will come to the place and moment of fulfilling His plans for your life.

In the end, Hannah became a mother; in the end, Samuel became a priest and the spiritual leader of the children of Israel; in the end, Job was blessed beyond his imagination; at the end, Noah came out of the ark, survived the flood with joy; in the end, Abraham fulfilled all the promises of God for his life; at the end, the children of Israel came out of Egypt with victory and praise; in the end, Daniel came out of the lion’s den alive; in the end, Mordecai was not hanged; at the end, the Jews prevailed against the evil plot of Haman; at the end, Sarah became a mother; at the end, Jabez became a blessing and honorable; at the end,Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego survived Nebuchadnezzar’s furnace of fire.
