“Then Mary said, behold, I am the handmaiden of the Lord; let it be done to me according to what you have said. And the angel left her.” Luke 1:26-38. Those where the words of Mary, the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ after God had announced her choice for a divine conception through angel Gabriel; after giving the angel all her attention and after pondering on the possibility of such words, such a promise, and such a choice, she was greatly elated, joyful, hopeful, happy and without doubt wonder why God made her His choice for such an honor, and absorbing those thought provoking and beautiful words that faithful day, her joy knew no bound and her human spirit was lifted off the shaky hinges of doubts to the solid rock of faith in the word of God; immediately, the Spirit of the living God descended on her and that which was said by God were perfected in her and she conceived.

Mary knew her God can do all things and that with Him there were no impossibilities; she knew the Messiah Jesus Christ will one day come to redeem and deliver those who believe in God and the children of Israel; but she had never in her lifetime and in her prayers requested to be the chosen channel to be used by God; and on that faithful day, she was happy to accept the offer in the promise by angel Gabriel but she never knew how that will happen. She knew she was a virgin, yet to be married and she knew it was biblically not right to be pregnant without a being officially married. Right in her many doubts of herself qualifying for such a promise from the angel of God, she immediately accepted the promise casting away all doubts in herself and her ability, and refusing to doubt God, she accepted the word of the promise from God. May I advice please, despite all the doubts you have about yourself concerning weakness, failures, frustrations and lack, never doubt the word of God and never doubt His promises, do exactly as Mary did, accept the promise and believe them. You may doubt your ability in many things like I do, but always accept the words and promises of God for your life as true and the very best.

There are many things you will never know how, but that should not hinder you from following faithfully and holding on diligently to the word of God. These may be your picture now, but the God we serve is far greater; more powerful, and His intent for you is far bigger and far better than your present doubts, fears, frustrations and confusions. I do not know how you will get your healing and your health back completely, but I know God knows how and He will do it as He had promised. I do not know how you will be promoted in your job after all the blonder at your place of work and your boss is not comfortable with your being there; but God knows how, He had promised, and will do as he had said to honor His words in and through you. You may not know how you will get married as no one had expressed interest in you or admire your person, but the Almighty God knows how, He had promised, and He will fulfill all His promises to you.

You may doubt how you will ever have a child at your present age and situation, but our God knows how, He had promised, and He will do it. You may not know how you will ever own a home of your own when you do not have a good job, never held a steady job and your pay is always and never enough for feeding; but God knows how, He had promised and will do it. I do not know how you will be able to finance that project when no one trusts your proposal and your person, no one wants to guarantee a loan for you, no one wants to partner with you; but our God knows how, He had promised you, and He will do as he had said.

You may not know how you will ever recover after your family, properties and finances were destroyed; how you will ever pass your exams due to ill health; how you will be reinstated after being laid off; how you will get out of debts; how you will get a job; but your God knows, He had promised, and He will do as He had said.
