THE ANOINTING, THE TIME, THE SEASON (3)

“For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac.” Genesis 21:2-3. Did you know that conspiracy from anywhere under the sun by anyone or group of people will never prevent God from fulfilling His plans, following up on you with His promises and confirming His purpose? There were several things working against Abraham and Sarah all targeted to prevent what God had said to them, what God had planned for them, and what will make their joy to be full, not none of those was able to change the time, the purpose and the season that God had set for them. Sarah was called barren by the people, she was insulted by her maid and humiliated in her spirit by her thoughts and action; she was considered too old to have a baby and Abraham was considered too old to have a son, but of the thoughts and considerations of men were able to make God change his mind or change His plans. God had called the name of their celebrated child even before he was conceived in the womb and it was time that was waiting to bring forth what God had said.

“Then God said to Abraham, as for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai, my princess, but her name will be Sarah, Princess. I will bless her, and indeed I will also give you a son by her. Yes, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of peoples will come from her. Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed, and said in his heart, shall a child be born to a man who is a hundred years old? And shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear a child? And Abraham said to God, hh, that Ishmael my firstborn might live before You. But God said, no, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son indeed, and you shall name him Isaac; and I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant and with his descendants after him. As for Ishmael, I have heard and listened to you; behold, I will bless him, and will make him fruitful and will greatly multiply him. He will be the father of twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation. But My covenant, My promise, My solemn pledge, I will establish with Isaac whom Sarah will bear to you at this time next year. And God finished speaking with him and went up from Abraham.” Genesis 17:15-22

While still working faithfully in obedience with God, while still holding onto the promise by God to him, and while still trusting and believing the promise will work, there were times where Abraham laughed at himself considering the growing evidence of impossibilities within his level of understanding of things, but unknown to him despite being close to God was the fact that God had a time for every word He had spoken, a time for every event to happen, a time for every of the promises made, a time for every purpose of His heart to be accomplished, and God had never missed a time or a season according in all of His plans. This is the best assurance to confirm that God will never miss a season, a time, and a purpose, He said: “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.” Matthew 24:35. His plans for you and for everyone who believes and hold unto Him will come to pass, His promises will be fulfilled, His purpose in you and in your affairs will be established, and your joy will be full according to His words. Anointing works to fulfill what God had said and what God had promise at the time He had destined and in the place of His desire. The highlight of God remembering what He had said signifies Him doing what He had promised and Abraham saw what their expectations. God had chosen you for His purpose and He will fulfill that purpose in His time, in His season while you are still living to see and to rejoice at what He had and will do. I have every assurance in the word of God that your tomorrow and your future will be better because, in this time and season, God will remember you, He will bless you, in this time and season God will use you. “I will return to you about this time next year, and your wife, Sarah, will have a son.” Genesis 8:10.
