WHERE IS MINE DEAR LORD?

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Psalm 23:4-6. That was the encouraging certainty of the testimony of David as he walk with the Lord to achieve the destiny that God destined for him. As you walk with God, as you follow Christ, and as you strongly believe in Him, in His word and in His love, your testimony will also change.

The gospel that Jesus Christ brought along to world in His days and handed over to His disciples, later passed on to us to learn, accept and follow, and to pass it on to others is deliberately called the ‘Good News’ for a very good reason. Christ Jesus in His love to all humanity and mostly to you today, targeted the gospel not to tingle your ears and give a temporal feelings of satisfaction, joy and relieve; but targeted to bring a permanent change, a permanent renewal, a continuous joy and hope, a full restoration to the path that will fully establish you in all the thing that God had planned and desired for you before you were born.

Accepting wholeheartedly to be born again will never be a vain action; following Jesus Christ as your only Lord and savior will ever be the best decision of your life; your voluntary acceptance to also believe in Christ Jesus and believe in all His words is the first step in allowing the Good News of Jesus Christ to begin working effectively in your life to effect the expected change and wholly produce the result that God will be happy in your life. Your decision to believe in Jesus Christ will never be complete if you do not believe that His love, His words, and His presence in your life will definitely result in a change in your own life, in the lives of the people you prayer for every day, and in the things you expect to be changed around you.

The gospel of Jesus Christ is called the ‘Good News’ because whenever and wherever it is accepted and allowed to have its way, will definitely replace what is old with what is new; will replace that which is dead with that which is living; will restore that which was lost and forgotten and will restore hope, confidence, and guarantee assurance of what is to come in the future. The ‘Good News’ is the hope of Christians, and the only hope that the whole world can truly rely on for the expected change. If the ‘Good News’ does not produce a change in you, then nothing else in the world will be able to change you for good, and the good news is that it cost you nothing to accept it, follow it, and believe what the Good News can, and will ever do.

The perfection of the work of the Lord God is still active and waiting to be manifested in your life. In the expectation of the effectiveness of the Good news, God gave you ears to hear so that what you hear will bring joy in your heart and to expecting something good in your life. God gave you good eyes to see many changes around you so that your hope to also see changes in your own life will be sustained as you see around you daily. God gave you hands so that you will handle that which is good and acceptable and be happy with what you do. He also gave you legs to that you can walk to your desired destiny and led others along with you. He gave you mouth so that you will speak and testify of the goodness of the Lord in your life every day, every time, and everywhere you go. The testimony of the goodness of the Lord must not end in you, and must not end in your generation.

As you wait patiently, as you ask, pray and expect, God will never fail you despite the delays and you will never stop to praise the Lord God Almighty as long as you are alive in Him. His mercy will continue in your life, His love will overtake you in every area, His power will establish you and His right hand will sustain you every day and everywhere. For prayers, Click here
