“REMIND YOURSELF OF YOUR HEART DESIRES”

Post date: Jul 11, 2018 4:42:37 AM

God has a plan and a purpose and a good desire for you and Satan know and he can’t change them. “Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God.Whenever I pray, I make my requests for all of you with joy, for you have been my partners in spreading the Good News about Christ from the time you first heard it until now. And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns,” Philippians 1:3- 6. These are the words and promises that we should base our desires on and not on things that will not last, things that will not elevate us and things that are outside of the will, the plans and the purpose of God for our lives. We read in Romans 8:35-37 “Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean He no longer loves us if we have trouble, in calamity, are persecuted or hungry, destitute, in danger, threatened with death? As the Scriptures say, for your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep. No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.” The desire of God is not that we should suffer and when we suffer, He has put things in place that we will overcome the suffering and all the things causing the suffering in our lives. He desires that we have victory, have a lasting success, have an unhindered joy, have and keep a good relationship, be productive and have companions not to continue in loneliness or pains. Keep your desires on God’s words and plans irrespective of what the devil is doing, I am convinced God will grant the desires of your heart that will fulfill His purpose and will for your life.

“And now you Gentiles have also heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, He identified you as His own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom He promised long ago. The Spirit is God’s guarantee that He will give us the inheritance He promised and that He has purchased us to be His own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify Him.” Ephesians 1:13-14. “All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation, and we have a priceless inheritance, an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay. And through your faith, God is protecting you by his power until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see. So be truly glad, there is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while. These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold, though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.”1 Peter 1:3-7

In numbers 23:18-24 we read “This was the message Balaam delivered, rise up Balak, and listen, hear me, son of Zippor. God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has He ever spoken and failed to act? Has He ever promised and not carried it through? Listen, I received a command to bless; God has blessed, and I cannot reverse it. No misfortune is in His plan for Jacob; no trouble is in store for Israel. For the Lord their God is with them; He has been proclaimed their king. God brought them out of Egypt; for them, He is as strong as a wild ox. No curse can touch Jacob; no magic has any power against Israel. For now, it will be said of Jacob, what wonders God has done for Israel. These people rise up like a lioness, like a majestic lion rousing itself. They refuse to rest until they have feasted on prey, drinking the blood of the slaughtered. God has no plan to change His plans and desires for your life, and do not change your desires based on His promises. For prayers Click here
