RECEIVED, RESTORED AND CELEBRATED

“For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” Romans 3:23, it is true that all have sinned, some had repented turned away from those sins and some are still in it full time and doing havoc to their soul and that of others. Yet many that have confessed and turn their back on their sins still find that evil consequences of those sins are still hunting them; they realize they are still under the consequences of generational sins, of actions that they committed or allowed to be committed. The consequences of sin is heavy, it reduces and rubs us of our rightful authority, boldness before men, rightful position in grace and glory, and rightful placement where God had destined for us in life.

But despite that, God is still interested in our full restoration even now. It was God’s interest in our spiritual and physical restoration that made Him to send Jesus Christ into the world; it was His interest in our restoration that Jesus Christ died on the cross: it was His interest in our restoration that He gave us the gospel, gave us preachers and teachers and leaders today; it was His interest in the total restoration of human beings that made God to visit Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden after the devil had deceive them to believe his lies and sin against God through disobeying the commands of God. God had not forsaken you because of your past, He had not forsaken you because of the sins of generations past; He will forgive when we repent, and He will restore when we walk to Him and walk with Him from now on. What sin takes away from us physically and spiritually are far greater than anything else we thought we ever gained in committing those sins. It reduces the glory of God upon our lives, reduces the honor given to us, it reduces our respect and our pride before men everywhere, sin is the greatest robbery in all humanity.

But God is very interested in the restoration of that glory, He is interested in the restoration of that honor; He is interested in restoring our boldness; He is interested in the restoration of your peace, He is interested in the restoration of your family and the restoration of everything that concerns you. God is not waiting to see the day you will be restored, He is eager to see it happen right now, in your present location, in your present job and position; He wants to see your home fully restored, your children, spouse, finances and health fully restored. Just as your redemption from the powers of darkness, the salvation of your soul, and the freedom you now enjoy in following Christ Jesus are important to God, so is your restoration from what you are now to what you should be, and to what God had destined you to be; your restoration in where you are right now to where you should be; your restoration in all things are also important to Him.

This is what the prodigal son did and his father's immediate restoration of all privileges he had lost before, all he never thought he would ever had, and all his brother never thought his father will ever do. God will give you a surprise with His restoration power

“I will go home to my father and say, Father, I have sinned against both heaven and you, and I am no longer worthy of being called your son. Please take me on as a hired servant. So he returned home to his father. And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him.  But his father said to the servants, Quick, Bring the finest robe in the house and put it on him. Get a ring for his finger and sandals for his feet. And kill the calf we have been fattening. We must celebrate with a feast, for this son of mine was dead and has now returned to life. He was lost, but now he is found. So the party began. Meanwhile, the older son was in the fields working. When he returned home, he heard music and dancing in the house. His father said to him, Look, dear son, you have always stayed by me, and everything I have is yours. We had to celebrate this happy day. For your brother was dead and has come back to life, he was lost, but now he is found.” Luke 15: 18-32. For prayers, Click here
