SAME EXPERIENCE, DIFFERENT RESULT

Our God is amazingly great and excellent in all His ways, in all His thoughts and plans concerning you, and in all His actions for your life. The secret of our living today besides our hope and still being able to produce result is not in our ability to keep ourselves relevant (though that is very necessary), but it is in our deliberate decision to pinch our tent in the secret place of the Most High God. The scripture assures us that, irrespective of the spiritual, physical and economic situation in the world, in His presence, there are pleasures forever more, in His presence there is life, hope and a secured future despite the picture of the present. “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand].” Psalms 91:1

Considering the way things had been going around the world, people thought it should have been over with you by now, with your lofty dreams and your desires in life, but contrary to their expectations, you are still living and having even better hopes and dreams for the future. Through the gift and power of the eyes, men will always see in the physical, but our God sees in the physical as well as spiritual in real time. It takes a change in the spiritual for the physical to manifest, and without the spiritual, there will be no physical and there will be no hope, our hope.

Because of the things going on around you, people may have asked you to change your trust, change your methods, change your thinking, and change your expectations. They may have asked you to follow their ungodly examples, but I know our God is bringing a change in your life that will lift up to a place of prominence and a joy if you remain in Him. The changes you expect are quite possible through Christ, the blessings you expect are quite possible in Him, and I know He will bring them to you. It has taken place in the spiritual, and will be manifested in you.

People may have given you an uncomfortable name as they did to Joseph and Daniel, but that will not stop God from working in and through you. Daniel told Nebuchadnezzar of the God he serves and His power in all generations, and in all things despite the name given to him: that his God “He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding. He reveals the deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with Him” Daniel 2:21-22. That is the God we serve today. He sees you as He made you in the beginning, not as the situations in life and as what people have made you to be today.

You have been going through the rains of afflictions, He is still sustaining you; you have been going through the floods of injustice and afflictions, from one difficulty to another, God is still sustaining you; you may have been going through the wind of time, tossing you from one point to another without success, God is still sustaining you. It was not by your strength or knowledge; it had been purely by God’s strength and love that you survive all these things. This is the assurance we have in being alive despite the many troubles, we hear and do His word: “And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. Matthew 7:25-27

“But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night. And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity].” Psalms 1:2-3.
