“WHAT IS AHEAD FOR ME DEAR LORD?”

Post date: Dec 12, 2016 12:05:38 AM

God’s desire is not for you to remain in the wilderness indefinitely; not for you to be stranded in the wilderness of life not knowing what to do and where to go; not for you to be weakened and punished in the wilderness by what you see and experience; it was not for you to be hungry in the wilderness and begin begging; it was not for you to regret following Him in the wilderness because of the headship; not for you to die in the wilderness for lack; and not for you to change your God to other gods. The wilderness was for you to pass through while preparing you to the best of living the rest of your life. Brethren, the best is ahead of you and it will come; your God is not leaving you behind and will not leave any stone unturned in order to take you where he had promised; where he had purposed and where he had destined for your sake.

God took is definitely taking you over this situation and taking you through this wilderness for good. He is with you, for you, and in you. What is ahead of you and for you is the confirmation of God’s covenant that will enable you to fulfill His purpose, fulfill His will, fulfill His plans and experience His desires for your life. God has no plans to return you to Egypt; none to return you into sorrows and shame; none to take you backward but forward; none to hold you back from advancing for others to catch up with you; none to keep you from being fruitful and happy; none to remind you of your past failures and mistakes; and none to allow you continue in shame.

You will make it and He will help you. “Every commandment that I am commanding you today you shall be careful to do, so that you may live and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the Lord swore to give to your fathers. And you shall remember all the ways which the Lord your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, so that He might humble you and test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not. He humbled you and allowed you to be hungry and fed you with manna, which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, so that He might make you understand that man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord. Your clothing did not wear out on you, nor did your feet swell these forty years. Therefore, know in your heart that the Lord your God disciplines and instructs you just as a man disciplines and instructs his son. Therefore, you shall keep the commandments of the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and fear Him. For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, flowing forth in valleys and hills; a land of wheat and barley, and vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey; a land where you will eat bread without shortage, in which you will lack nothing; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills you can dig copper. When you have eaten and are satisfied, then you shall bless the Lord your God for the good land which He has given you. Beware that you do not forget the Lord your God by failing to keep His commandments and His judgments and His statutes which I am commanding you today; otherwise, when you have eaten and are satisfied, and have built good houses and lived in them, and when your herds and flocks multiply, and your silver and gold multiply, and all that you have increases, then your heart will become lifted up and you forget the Lord your God who brought you from the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. He led you through the great and terrible wilderness, with its fiery serpents and scorpions and thirsty ground where there was no water; it was He who brought water for you out of the flinty rock. He fed you manna in the wilderness, which your fathers did not know, so that He might humble you and that He might test you, to do good for you at the end. Otherwise, you may say in your heart, My power and the strength of my hand made me this wealth. But you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth that He may confirm His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.” Deuteronomy 8:1-18.
