GOD WILL NOT CHANGE HIS PLAN OR HIS MIND (5)

“But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends; a day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day. The Lord isn’t really being slow about His promise, as some people think. No, He is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed but wants everyone to repent. For you, a thousand years are as a passing day, as brief as a few night hours.” 2 Peter 3:8-9; Psalm 90:4. When it seems God is silent, it does not mean He is not there or unaware of your situation or of your location; when it seems to you He is not answering you, it does not mean He is unable to do so or has forgotten or abandoned you. I want you to know that a thousand lions cannot deter Him or stop Him from doing what He had planned; the forces of Satan against and against all the things you have asked in prayers cannot stop Him or make Him change His mind concerning you. God is not a man and will never be one. His love, His knowledge, and His ability are far beyond the best knowledge and thoughts and ability of all men in all generations. As the Lord keeps Israel, He will keep you, as He defended Israel, He will defend you, as He preserved Israel, He will preserve you, and as He established Israel, so will He also establish you.

God knows you have waited long; He knows the delays are painful and disturbing; He knows that your faith is being tested and that your flesh is weak; and He wants you to know that He is still God and able and willing to confirm His words, His plans and establish you in the place and the position He had promised and destined for you. despite the things you have seen, heard, and also experienced; God will never forget to be merciful to you, He will never abandon those He had saved, those who look unto him for help, those who trust in Him for peace, and who are waiting patiently for His glory in their lives. “For thus hath the Lord spoke unto me, like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them. So shall the Lord of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof. As birds flying, so will the Lord of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also He will deliver it, and passing over He will preserve it. Turn ye unto Him from whom the children of Israel have deeply revolted.” Isaiah 31:4-6. God’s plan for Israel began long before God spoke to Abraham and at the appointed time in His love, He made it known to Abraham and established it in the lives of the children of Jacob after three hundred and thirty years in Egypt. Despite the passing of the year, God did not forget His word or changed His promises, and despite the challenges in the wilderness and the forty years journey, God did not change His plans. He finally established them where He had promised Abraham their Father. God will definitely establish you. Nothing will stop Him.

Salvation brings you to the presence of God, and prayer brings your needs and desires to the table for God’s approval. God will not run you back empty and He will not deny you what He had promised you in His love. “But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering, and to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel. See that you do not refuse Him who is speaking. For if they did not escape when they refused Him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape if we reject Him who warns from heaven. At that time His voice shook the earth, but now He has promised, Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens. This phrase, yet once more, indicates the removal of things that are shaken—that is, things that have been made —in order that the things that cannot be shaken may remain.” Hebrews 12:22-27. Lord, remove the things that are shaking in my life. For prayers, Click here
