“And Jesus said to the woman, your faith has saved you, go in peace. And Jesus said to the man, stand up and go, your faith has healed you.” Luke 7:50; 17:19. When Christ says it, it is done, the only thing reaming for us to do is claiming what He has said in faith and standing by that faith in His word until we see them fulfilled. Did you know that faith is spiritual, physical, and practical? It is a spiritual devotion that requires consistent physical activity, and practical submission to God, to His word, and to what we believe as Christians. Faith is a duty we are called to do, to grow in, and to continue with. Our faith must always agree with the Gospel, with the plan, desire, and the will of God in that situation. Faith is not about our feelings or the best of our dreams, it is about God and His word. Faith is the only approved instrument of receiving God’s miracle and seeing the fulfillment of His word and promises in our lives. And faith comes to us only by hearing the Word of God. “Faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.” Romans 10:17. Faith is not made effecting by the feelings we have, but by relying on nothing else than the word of God in the bible.

The more we know the true God the more we have faith in Him. More faith comes with more Bible studies. Without faith, we can understand God or the Bible in any natural or supernatural way. Faith requires knowledge of God, trust in God, and assent to His ways. It is always good to know what you have faith for and knows whom you have in; faith must assent to the word of God, must give its approval to the truth of the word of God; must trust in Christ Jesus, trust the expectation, and also trust the source. Let us have faith in Christ Jesus, in His word, in His ability, and in His willingness to do to us beyond what our best prayers and best expectation cannot do.

By faith in God, Moses lived to become a mighty tool in the hands of God and a leader who by the power of God, succeeded in confronted Pharaoh to release the children of Israel from captivity and slavery. It was by faith that Moses left the land of Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger against him, and kept going because he kept his eyes on the one who is invisible. By faith, the people of Israel went right through the Red Sea as though they were on dry ground. By faith, the people of Israel marched around Jericho for seven days, and the walls came crashing down for them to enter the Promised Land. By faith, Rahab was not destroyed with the people who refused to obey God because she gave a friendly welcome to the spies.

It would take too long to recount the stories of the faith, but it is true, faith works, it produces great results, rewards, and benefits. By faith Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, and Samuel overthrew kingdoms, ruled with justice, and received what God had promised them. They shut the mouths of lions, quenched the flames of fire, and escaped death by the edge of the sword, their weakness was turned to strength and they became strong in battle and put whole armies to flight. By faith, women received their loved ones back again to life from death.

It is on record that people have earned a reputation through faith in God and His word. You will earn good reputation because of your faith. God has something better in mind for you as you exercise your faith in Him and in His word. Your faith can and will save you; your faith will deliver you, move your mountains, open doors that had been closed and used by the enemies against your progress, joy, and healing. Faith will closed doors that been used to afflict, humiliate, and torture you. Jesus Christ said to the woman who had been sick for twelves years who had spent all she had; “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. Your suffering is over.” Mark 5:34, and it was so immediately. Again, Jesus Christ told the Jarius whose only daughter had been confirmed dead.“Don’t be afraid. Just have faith.” Mark 5:36. And the girl was brought back to life by Christ before the very people who had confirmed her death and were ready to bury her. I hear God say to you, have faith in Me. For prayers, Click here
