GOD’S EXTRAORDINARY LOVE

Considering what you have been going through in life, struggling with issues that seem unending, difficulties and taking a heavy toll on you, your career, your finances and family, you may have been forced to ask the question, does God truly love me as the bible said? The answer is, the bible is always true, and God loves you irrespectively of the feelings.

There is no mincing of words concerning the absolute love of God to man. The bible declares in several passages that God is love and without our loving Him, there is no way we can claim to love anyone, not even ourselves. The love of God we enjoy every day is far beyond just making us feel good in everything, opening the doors for us, and giving us health, there are more. One of the very best sides of our God is in His unreserved love to all mankind since creation irrespective of religion, location, language, gender and color. In expressing that love, He forgives and pardon, send Christ Jesus to show us the way, gave us His words in the bible, and continuously forgive us not once, but daily. David said; “If You, Lord, should keep account of and treat us according to our sins, O Lord, who could stand? But there is forgiveness with You [just what man needs], that You may be reverently feared and worshiped. I wait for the Lord, I expectantly wait, and in His word do I hope” Psalm 130:3-5

God’s ultimate desire in loving us is to provide daily, the very best leadership and guidance in everything we do. Such a loving provision will never stop Him from using the correction tool when it is very necessary. He will never watch us destroyed even by the very best of our desires or the worst of the devil’s attack. He will never give up on us, the power of the devil cannot match God’s intervention in every circumstances and I know that the time of your own godly intervention is here to stay. David told us in Psalm 23:6 that, when God used His rod and staff on him when he walked off the mark of excellence, though painful, it was comforting, because it made him to get back on the right way. Christ Jesus said He is not willing to loss any one that will ever come to Him, He promised to do all to protect us including using the correcting tool. Unlike men, God will never love anyone to the extent of holding back His loving correction. The lack of appropriate and loving correction rather than hate is the acceptance and approval of evil and that is devastating to man. God corrects us because we are His sons and daughter

“And have you [completely] forgotten the divine word of appeal and encouragement in which you are reasoned with and addressed as sons? My son, do not think lightly or scorn to submit to the correction and discipline of the Lord, nor lose courage and give up and faint when you are reproved or corrected by Him; For the Lord corrects and disciplines everyone whom He loves, and He punishes, even scourges, every son whom He accepts and welcomes to His heart and cherishes. You must submit to and endure [correction] for discipline; God is dealing with you as with sons. For what son is there whom his father does not [thus] train and correct and discipline? Now if you are exempt from correction and left without discipline in which all [of God’s children] share, then you are illegitimate offspring and not true sons [at all]. Because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, the hearts of the sons of men are fully set to do evil. Though a sinner does evil a hundred times and his days [seemingly] are prolonged [in his wickedness], yet surely I know that it will be well with those who [reverently] fear God, who revere and worship Him, realizing His continual presence” Hebrews 12:5-8, Ecclesiastes 8:11-12.  God might not correct the unbeliever as we may want, but He loves you no matter what.
