TURN THEM AGAINST THEMSELVES DEAR LORD

Post date: Oct 1, 2013 3:59:07 AM

You are not asking for what is impossible, what is unscriptural, and what has never been done before in the scriptures and in real life, all that you are asking is; God do it again in my case. God can, and God will do it because He is the one who gives us good reasons to testify of all His goodness, because He had done it before and He will do it again. Pray it loud, do not be shy or feel guilty in your heart, God will not condemn you even though people may be angry with you. Do it because situation demands you do it, pray it because the scriptures asked you to pray all manners of prayers in all manners of situations. Pray because that is the acceptable way to deal with unseen, unknown and stubborn forces of darkness from the pit of hell working through agents in human flesh against the will and provision of God for your life. Pray, dear Father, turn my enemies against themselves in the name of Jesus Christ my only Lord and savior.

How long will you remain a victim of wrong human judgments; how long will you remain a victim of evil attack in every area of your life wherever you go; how long will you remain an onlooker even in the profession you have received the best education in and have spent time training yourself well enough to excel and be recognized; how long will you remain at the mercy of people? How long will you remain weeping when you find yourself incapable of responding adequately to the enemy’s evil against you, your marriage, career, finances, children, properties especially when they have oversight and hold the position of decision making over you?

Jehoshaphat knew the threat from the enemies were real, he knew they were truly gathering in great numbers, he knew they had weapons and were making them ready for the battle, he knew there was no way he could stop them as they had refused all means of seeking peace, he knew he had weapons also and he had the men who can handle those weapons, yet he was confused on what decision will be the best in that situation. But in that confusing situation, he prayed to God and received these beautiful assuring words: “He said, Hearken, all Judah, you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you King Jehoshaphat. The Lord says this to you: Be not afraid or dismayed at this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s. You shall not need to fight in this battle; take your positions, stand still, and see the deliverance of the Lord Who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Fear not nor be dismayed. Tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you”. After encouraging Jehoshaphat and the people, God acted in an amazing way in response to the prayer of Jehoshaphat when three nations rose up to fight against him and his people: “For the people of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir to utterly kill and destroy them. And when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, they helped to destroy one another.” 2 Chronicles 20: 15, 17 and 23

Though Jehoshaphat did not ask for this in His prayer on that day of his confusion, God in His mercy, knowledge and ability, knew what to do, and in response to the prayer, made it that way for him and his people. God knows what is best for you and He knows when to make that happen He will do it at the right time, in the right place, and before His best chosen audience for you.

God will do this because it is His desire to give you His peace in your troubles. God wants to celebrate you openly not in the closets of your own or rented home. He wants to bless you in the open, not with little things, but with things that will be impossible for you or anyone to take any credit for; He want it openly so that the world may see His love in you, see His hands on you and respect Him through you, see Christ Jesus in you and believe in Him, and testify of His goodness all-around you. You are the mirror in the world today to reflect His true image of Christ Jesus. (Prayer month extended through October.) Send your prayer request Click here
