Despite all the odds that is standing to stop you; despite all the odds that is working to make you look like a failure or admit being a failure; despite all the things urging you to step aside and to stand back; despite all the delays and frustrations in your previous efforts; despite all the odds that seems too big for you to overcome; despite all the odds against your dreams, visions,  and desires; despite all the oppositions and resistance of men, despite all the evidences being pushed forward to discredit you; despite the delays and the denials; despite all the near successes and faults at the point of success; despite all your handicaps; despite the lack of good people who are ready to accept you, trust you and give you a helping hand to the next level in life; despite the fears of success or failure, there is a sure word of God for you and all you need to do is reminding yourself of those words and taking a firm stand that the Almighty God who said it will never fail, His words will not fail and His purpose for your life will not fail.

The Almighty God knows you very well before calling you out for His work and before giving you any assignment to perform; He had ordained you to succeed before sending you out on the way; He prepares the ways for you before opening your eyes to see and your steps to begin; He ordered your every of step and every one that you will ever meet at every stage of His assignment. Did you know that God is with you despite the fears and uncertainties that seem to hold you down and back? I know you know that God’s angels are all with you to guide and to keep you safe and active till the day that you will see God’s success manifested in real life. I know you know that God had not withdrawn His love from you; God had not withdrawn your name from His Holy book; had not replaced you with someone else and will never back off from taking you to the place He had destined for you in life

Joshua was destined to take over from Moses; he was destined to lead Israel to the place God had promised Abraham and destined for Israel forever; he was destined to lead in the breaking and pulling down of the walls of Jericho that was standing to prevent them; he was destined to lead Israel in crossing the Jordan River, and he was destined to see the promises of God to Abraham, Moses, and Israel fulfilled. When He took over from Moses, there were people who did not want him to do so, who wanted to stop him, who wanted to frustrate him and who wanted to deny him what God had said and kept for him. But despite all that stood against him, God was more than enough for him and was there to help him. That same God is here for you and with you as you stand up ready for His plans and promises despite the oppositions.

When Joshua was being frustrated by the leaders of Israel, all that God said to him was for him to remember what He had said and that same God is also asking you to remember all that He had said to you before this day. “Moses my servant is dead. Now then, you and all these people, get ready to cross the Jordan River into the land I am about to give to them to the Israelites. I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses. Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the great river, the Euphrates, all the Hittite country, to the Mediterranean Sea in the west. No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them. Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:2-9. For prayers, Click here
