END THIS MY WILDERNESS OH LORD

Post date: Sep 7, 2015 1:18:59 AM

The wilderness is a place where dreams are completely lost, true visions are completely absent, ambitions are discarded, courage is lacking, physical and spiritual strength does not exist, the right people and relationship are never found, wisdom does not win, and knowledge does not make a difference. It is the worst place to ever be and the worst time in one’s lifetime and the devil knows that; but the God who had saved your life and given the grace to be alive today will deliver you in this wilderness and set your feet on the ground and place He had destined for you in life. As the devil had decided to dwell in the wilderness, you will not dwell there with him, God will take you out, He will give you victory, He will change your life and He will change your situation for His glory. “When I came, why was there no one? When I called, why was there no one to answer? Was my arm too short to deliver you? Do I lack the strength to rescue you? By a mere rebuke I dry up the sea, I turn rivers into a desert; their fish rot for lack of water and die of thirst. I clothe the heavens with darkness and make sackcloth its covering.” Isaiah 50:2-3.

Dear Lord, this wilderness experience must end, this wilderness shame must end, and this wilderness lack that I am experiencing must come to an end. Lord, You did not spend Your entire lifetime in the wilderness and I must not spend my entire lifetime in this wilderness. The children of Israel did not spend their entire life in the wilderness and I must not spend my entire time in this wilderness also. You overcome the wilderness and the children of Israel did the same and I will also do the same. You overcome all the temptations when You were in the wilderness and the children of Israel did the same and I must do the same.

The devil knows that there are no places on earth as bad as the wilderness, and that is where he deliberately took our Lord Jesus Christ to on that faithful day after His baptism and there he purposely tempted and tested Him; that is the same place he intends to take you to and tempt and test you. The wilderness is a place of severe loneliness, a place where no true and unique life as yours exist; a place where only evil is perpetrated to the highest level; a place where only the devil controls all of its activities; a place where the basic things of life are not existing; a place that one cannot see and meet his or her needs; a place where the kind of comfort you need does not exist; a place where all is about insufficiency, pains, sorrows and anger; a place that the kind of friends and spouse you need are not existing; a place where you are never encouraged, a place of constant accusations, shame, abuse and bad words; a place of frustrations and disappointments. These are the places the devil desires you to be or desires to take you to and these are the scenes he is trying to replicate in your life today. The joy in living as a Christian is that Jesus Christ survived all of His days in the wilderness; survived all the experiences and above all defeated the devil even in his best time of craftiness. Our Lord Jesus Christ will give you that same victory in this your wilderness.

The devil knows there is no time as bad as the time and moment spent in the wilderness and that is the exact kind of time he wants to create in your life; a time of coordinated temptations and consistent anger, a time of self-rejection, pity, and condemnation due to the consistent lack of the basic things you need to move to the next level of things ahead of you after years of preparation; a time of unending shame and inability to get to your destination; a time of frustrations and disappointments. That evil time the devil is trying to create or recreate in your life will not stand. Jesus Christ did not fall and did not fail in His mission during the time of His wilderness experience; the children of Israel did not stop moving towards the Promised Land because of the time they spent in the wilderness and you will not stop your upward movement to the place God had destined for you.
