Expectations based on real and active faith in Jesus Christ is profitable; expectations based on assurance of His infallible words is assuring; expectations based on the well documented prove and evidence of what God had done before to others is elevating; expectations based on all the scriptures you believed are reviving; expectations motivated by the Holy Spirit of God is true; expectations driven by pure divine desires are unfailing; expectations sustained by a continuous obedience and total faithfulness to the words and commands of our Lord Jesus Christ will at the end produce definite and amazing results. A Godly and positive expectation should be the way of life for all believers in Jesus Christ at all times, in all situations and in all locations irrespective of what the devil is doing and will ever desire to do against you. Expectations are powerful at all times irrespective of the situation at hand, we should know that dreams without true expectation bread laziness and hinders corresponding actions.

Expectations are rewarding in several ways. As a true believer and follower of Jesus Christ, you have been living in the expectation of many things in and for your life personally, you have been living in high expectations for your family, for your profession, for your marriages, for your job, for your dreams and good desires for many years, and I am saying to you by faith in Jesus name that those expectations though delayed, though you are frustrated, fearful and uncertain all of those expectations of your heart are not forgotten, they are not even death, they are not put aside and they are not lost. Those expectations will come to pass, God is still watching His words, He is still upholding His words and God is still fulfilling all of His promises irrespective of the years it will take for them to be fulfilled.

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts higher than your thoughts. For as the rain and snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth, making it bear and sprout, and providing seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so will My word be which goes out of My mouth; it will not return to Me void without result, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it. For you will go out from exile with joy and be led forth by the Lord Himself with peace; the mountains and the hills will break forth into shouts of joy before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. Instead of the thorn bush the cypress tree will grow, and instead of the nettle the myrtle tree will grow; and it will be a memorial to the Lord, for an everlasting sign of His mercy which will not be cut off.” Isaiah 55:8-13

God will not fail in His promises and in His words and your expectations in Him and in His word will not fail. Let your expectation be built around the word of God and not on the words of men; let your expectations be based on the knowledge and wisdom given by the Holy Spirit and not on the knowledge and wisdom of men’s understanding; let your expectations be built around the future that God had promised you, the future that He had revealed to you and the future that He had spoken about concerning you and not the past that you have already overcome, not in the past that salvation had separated you from and not on the past that the devil is reminding you of every day at every occasion and moment. God has a plan that He will definitely fulfill in your life and your expectation in Him is true and will come. What are your expectations and what are the expectations of the righteous? They are expectations based on all the goodness of our loving God to His loving children. Expectation will bring a breakthrough; will activate confidence in you and in your works, desires, and dreams. Expectations have the power to restore that which you think had been lost. “Do not let your heart envy sinners who live godless lives and have no hope of salvation, but continue to live in the reverent, worshipful fear of the Lord day by day. Surely there is a future and a reward, and your hope and expectation will not be cut off.” Proverbs 23:17-18. For prayers Click here
