OH GOD OF ZERUBBABEL, SPEAK FOR ME

Post date: Dec 12, 2013 5:02:17 AM

The God of Zerubbabel gave his servant a vision, but Zerubbabel could not see the vision fully manifested despite all his efforts. That same God did not abandon Zerubbabel who was still very faithful, hopeful and waiting for the full manifestation of that vision despite his inability and the delays, but that same God sent His angel to remind Zerubbabel of the vision, and to rebuke and to remove the human mountains that were hindering Zerubbabel from receiving and enjoying the vision in his time. That God who gave you the grace to live, the salvation you have and the opportunity to wait on Him will do what He did to Zeubbabel.

In an earlier vision in ministry, when Zerubbabel started believing God for the extraordinary, doing what he supposed to do to actualize same, he clearly saw a lamp-stand in that vision; note, not just an ordinary lamp-stand, but a golden lamp-stand with an endless supply of the needed oil to keep the light from ever going out. Everyone with such a vision will definitely want it and will do everything to get it, but mountains prevented him from getting unto the vision.

One thing Zerubbabel did was that he never gave up and God had to send His angels to assure him that he will surely accomplish that vision but not by his own strength. There are many things that Lord had shown you in several revelations and yet things are not moving well towards your achieving those things shown to you by the Lord. The best of your physical and spiritual efforts towards that goal had not yielded any benefit; the best of all your physical and spiritual training had not be beneficial; the best of your consultations had been fruitless, and the best of human engagement had been frustrating.

Many of the things you have been well educated to become and to derive benefits from had not been forthcoming, your investments are fruitless and your life and years are fast eroding, there are more questions on your lips than praises, and your heart is always filled with bitterness and pains. You have grown up to despise visions, dreams and prophesy because of the ones you had have not been fulfilled and you are unable to lay your hands on any all these years.

Never despise the days of your dreams and do not feel they are fruitless, as God did to Zerubbabel, he will do to you. “And the angel who talked with me came again and awakened me, like a man who is wakened out of his sleep. And said to me, what do you see? I said, I see, and behold, a lampstand all of gold, with its bowl for oil on the top of it and its seven lamps on it, and there are seven pipes to each of the seven lamps which are upon the top of it. And there are two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl and the other upon the left side of it feeding it continuously with oil. So I asked the angel who talked with me, what are these, my lord? Then the angel who talked with me answered me, do you not know what these are? And I said, No, my lord. Then he said to me, this addition of the bowl to the candlestick, causing it to yield a ceaseless supply of oil from the olive trees is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, saying, not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit of Whom the oil is a symbol, says the Lord of hosts. For who are you, O great mountain of human obstacles? Before Zerubbabel who with Joshua had led the return of the exiles from Babylon and was undertaking the rebuilding of the temple, before him you shall become a plain a mere molehill. And he shall bring forth the finishing gable stone of the new temple with loud shouting of the people, crying, Grace, grace to it. Moreover, the word of the Lord came to me, saying, the hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundations of this house; his hands shall also finish it. Then you shall know, recognize and understand that the Lord of hosts has sent me His messenger to you. Who with reason despises the day of small things? For these seven shall rejoice when they see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel. These seven are the eyes of the Lord which run to and fro throughout the whole earth.” Zechariah 4:1-10.
