No one desires to be put to shame but many situations do bring shame; no one is comfortable in shame and no one will desire to remain in any form of shame, but some circumstances beyond our control do make it happen. Failed dreams, numerous disappointments, discouragement, lost a job, inability to meet demands and pressing needs, unforeseen hardship, joblessness, loneliness, unfulfilled desires, delays in answered prayers, the list is endless but whatever shame, whatever causes it and whatever sustains it in you can be taken away by our Lord Jesus Christ and by your faith, hope and trust in Him alone. Look, no one can fight shame physically when it comes but it is certain with God, with trust in His word, with hope in Him and with assurance in all of His words you can overcome shame and be fully restored to what He had intended and designed and destined for you in this life.

There is no amount of leisure, alcohol, fund time, drug, association or play that can take the shame away permanently, they only keep them off you temporally. Using these things to keep shame away from you will only result in becoming drunk and addiction and in the end, they will ruin your life and increase the shame. Most people get addicted to things they don’t want in their lives because they went into these things to take the shame away from them in the first place, but that is not what God wants for you. If you have become addicted to things that God is angry with because of your thought that it will take shame from you, God is ready to deliver you now, He is willing to heal you now and He is willing to restore you and take that shame away permanently. Apostle Paul said: “I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes in Christ as Savior, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith disclosed in a way that awakens more faith. As it is written and forever remains written, the just and upright shall live by faith.” Romans 1:16-17. That is a statement of confidence expressed in faith and with faith only in Christ Jesus. Paul suffered much, endured much, achieved much and he lived to fulfill all that God destined and call him into.

Do not let the shame that comes in being disappointed control your thoughts, emotion, and action, God is till active and is able to give you His blessings. Do not allow the shame that comes with unfulfilled dreams and desires destroy your life, there is nothing that you have lost that God will not and cannot restore or give you end better ones. Do not allow the shame that comes with any form of sickness or pains destroy your hope and trust in Christ Jesus, He said He will heal you and I know He will because He can and had done the same to others. “What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself. Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us. Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it means he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? As the Scriptures say, For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep. No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow, not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:31-39.
