CHRIST JESUS HAS SEEN YOUR CRIES

On seeing Christ Jesus on the cross after being tortured by the soldiers, His mother Mary cried for His pains and the humiliation He suffered before and on the cross; the disciples wondered on seeing Him suffer, were discouraged and fearful for what will happen to them thereafter; other believers around were confused not knowing what to say to the soldiers and the people torturing Him, but Christ said to all of them, “But standing by the cross of Jesus were His mother, His mother’s sister Salome, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. So Jesus, seeing His mother, and the disciple whom He loved, esteemed, standing near, said to His mother, Dear woman, look, here is your son. Then He said to the disciple, look here is your mother, protect and provide for her. From that hour, the disciple took her into his own home.” John 19:25-27

Even while Christ Jesus was on the cross, He was still mindful of what was happening to the people around; He was still mindful of what will happen to His family and apostles; He was still connected to His Father in heaven and still praying to Him; He was still thinking of the comfort of all His family members, apostles and believers; He was still trusting in destiny and hopeful for the fulfilling of the words and promises of His Father. All that He went through on the cross did not make Him bitter and angry with anyone; did not make Him regret coming into the world to save you and I; did not make Him to turn His back on believing the promises of His Father and did not make in any way to forget providing comfort for those who are hurting and suffering in pains of delay, denial, frustrations and discouragement. Jesus Christ has seen your cries; He knows the reason and the cause; He know how long it had been and He knows how long it will remain and will not allow you to remain in it beyond the date of your freedom and peace. He had promised to comfort you and He will do it.

In all of your cries Christ Jesus will comfort you beyond the pains you have suffered; in your cries He will make a way of comfort for you; in your cries He will send His angels to take you by hand and lead you through; in your cries He will confirm His lordship over you and over your situation forever. In your cries, He will not keep silent and He will not withhold His arms of help from touching you. Remember God is watching over you for good and not for evil; He is Lord of your life for good and not for evil and he will do you good. He will not pass without recognizing you and fulfilling His plans and He will not mistake you for another person. Do not be ashamed because you are crying to Him. It is better to cry before God than to cry before men. Others may mock at you but God will not mock at you; others may call you weak, but God will not see you as one; others may call you stupid but God knows you are not; others may count you out but God will count you in; your tears is not a sign of stupidity, not of weakness, not a sign of inability; not a sign of foolishness and definitely not a sign that you will not rise above that situation. The man born blind cried to God and received his sight back and you will also recover.

“Call on Me in the day of trouble; I will rescue you, and you shall honor and glorify Me. But to the wicked God says: what right have you to recite My statutes or to take My covenant on your lips? For you hate instruction and discipline and cast My words behind you discarding them. When you see a thief, you are pleased with him and condone his behavior, and you associate with adulterers. You give your mouth to evil and your tongue frames deceit. You sit and speak against your brother; you slander your own mother’s son. These things you have done and I kept silent; you thought that I was just like you. Now I will reprimand and denounce you and state the case in order before your eyes. Now consider this, you who forget God or I will tear you in pieces, and there will be no one to rescue you. He who offers a sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving honors Me; and to him who orders his way rightly, who follows the way that I show him, I shall show the salvation of God.” Psalm 50:15-23.
