FROM THIS MONTH, GOD WILL MAKE A WAY FOR YOU (21)

“A wise woman builds her house, while a foolish woman tears hers down by her own efforts. To do right honors God; to sin is to despise him. A rebel’s foolish talk should prick his own pride, but the wise man’s speech is respected. An empty stable stays clean, but there is no income from an empty stable. A truthful witness never lies; a false witness always lies. A mocker never finds the wisdom he claims he is looking for, yet it comes easily to the man with common sense. If you are looking for advice, stay away from fools. The wise man looks ahead, the fool attempts to fool himself and won’t face facts. The common bond of rebels is their guilt, the common bond of godly people is goodwill. Only the person involved can know his own bitterness or joy, no one else can really share it. The work of the wicked will perish; the work of the godly will flourish. Before every man there lies a wide and pleasant road that seems right but ends in death. Laughter cannot mask a heavy heart, when the laughter ends, the grief remains. The backslider gets bored with himself, the godly man’s life is exciting.” Proverbs 14:1-14

The devil is not bothered by the ways you make for yourself irrespective of the knowledge, the vision, the ability, and the wisdom you may have because he knows the flaws in them, he knows how to thwart them, he knows how and who he will use to frustrate them, and he knows how to stop you irrespective of your location, your name, your profession, the assurances, and the physical securities you have provided for yourself. When God makes a way for you or anyone else in every situation, time and place, Satan knows you will definitely succeed because God is the only one who will lead you on that way perfectly and not yourself, and He will provide the security you will need through Christ, through grace, and through His words. When God makes a way, Satan will begin working with people and institution in various places to frustrate, hinder and prevent you because he knows he cannot close the way or stop God in His ways.

This is what Christ Jesus said to His disciples concerning making ways, leading one on the ways, and ensuring they get it right on that way: “Let not your heart be troubled, you are trusting God, now trust in me. There are many homes up there where my Father lives, and I am going to prepare them for your coming. When everything is ready, then I will come and get you, so that you can always be with me where I am. If this weren’t so, I would tell you plainly. And you know where I am going and how to get there. No, we don’t, Thomas said, we haven’t any idea where you are going, so how can we know the way? Jesus told him, I am the Way, yes, and the Truth and the Life. No one can get to the Father except by means of me.” John 14:1-6.

Christ said it clearly that He is the way, He is the truth, and He is the life; these are three things that everyone then and now including His disciples were looking for. His word was with great assurance, with a sure guarantee, and with all perfections. It will surprise you how much the devil knows about you, your daily decisions, and all the trouble you have ever had without anyone telling him. That is why the Scriptures tells God’s words and back it up with evidence in all circumstances. It is good to know that God did not start making ways for Job after he had trouble, He made way before and continues even into his troubles; God was with Job, He lead Job, He ensured Job survived all the trouble, and God ensured that Job fully recovered, restored and made to be far better than when his troubles began. God made a way for Daniel to be taken from the prison where he was under captivity to be the adviser to Nebuchadnezzar and a high member in his cabinet. God made the way for David to survive accusations, condemnation, and be protected and delivered from the den of lions. God gave Daniel favor, wisdom, knowledge and the ability before kings. “Truly, O Daniel, the king said, your God is the God of gods, Ruler of kings, the Revealer of mysteries because he has told you this secret. Then the king made Daniel very great; gave him valuable gifts and appointed him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, as well as chief over all his wise men.” Daniel 2:47.
