"OH FATHER, FRUSTRATE THEIR EVIL THOUGHTS/PLANS"

Your duty is to ask and God’s duty is to complete the rest according to His plans and purpose for your life. In Job 5:6-16 we read one of Job’s words and thoughts after suffering afflictions from the hands of Satan, he said: “For affliction does not come forth from the dust, nor does trouble spring forth from the ground. For man is born for trouble, as naturally as sparks fly upward. As for me, I would seek God and inquire of Him, and I would commit my cause to God; who does great and unsearchable things, marvelous things without number. He gives rain upon the earth and sends waters upon the fields so that He sets on high those who are lowly, and He lifts to safety those who mourn. He frustrates the devices and schemes of the crafty so that their hands cannot attain success or achieve anything of lasting worth. He catches the so-called wise in their own shrewdness, and the advice of the devious is quickly thwarted. In the daytime, they meet in darkness, and at noon they grope as in the night. But God saves the innocent from the sword of the mouth of the devious, and the poor from the hand of the mighty. So the helpless have hope, and injustice shuts its mouth.” In Job’s trouble, he recognized God; in his thoughts, he rested on God’s knowledge and in his weakness, he rested on His ability. He had peace and settled in his heart that God will work in his case and will restore him.

Like everyone else in troubled times, Job was personally troubled about his health and his future after losing all he had, all his children, all his wealth and all his possessions, but there were seven things that Job did not lose, that was hope in God; faith in the God he knew and served; trust in the God he served; determination to call and depend on Him; the grace and the ability to pray. Job knew God can be depended upon at all times; he knew God answers prayers and knew He will answer him, his hope was firm and his trust was unshakable by his afflictions and the efforts of his friends and the people around him to ridicule him did not succeed. Job said despite all of his pains and afflictions in life, he would seek God and will inquire of Him concerning his life and future; he would commit his cause to God and lives each day; he knew God as the one who does great things and does marvelous things without number and no one is able to resist or stop Him in His plans and in fulfilling His desires and design. Job knew God can help the helpless and he was helpless; he knew God can restore the hopeless and he was hopeless, and Job knew God can shut the mouth of the proud and arrogant and deliver those who trust in Him from the powers and effects of injustice. Job knew can and will save the innocent from the swords and wicked plots of the wicked, and he knew through God, the poor can be delivered from the hands of the mighty. Indeed, God did all and above that for Job. We serve the God who cares in all of our afflictions and is able to do exceedingly and more abundantly for us today as He did for Job.

There is nothing impossible for God to do and there is absolutely nothing that He will fail to give those who put their and hope in Him faithfully. If the wicked wake up in the morning to plan your downfall from grace and the place God had placed you, then God will frustrate their plans and will refuse to honor their plans: if their gathering is to perfect ways to disgrace you and strip you of divine favors from heaven, then they will gather in vain because God will frustrate them in their acts of gathering for a wicked purpose; if their night is spent on perfecting wickedness against you, their efforts will never succeed because your God is alive and active always and is able to defend, sustain and protect you, and if their words are all about what to do against you, then they shall eat their words in shame because God is working to perfect His words in you. He has a destiny for you and in you and His grace in all over you. In no way will their evil works be fruitful in you; in no way will they see the chance they are looking for against you. Each new day God shall expose and destroy their wicked plans and works and will lift you high above them because you know Him and have hope in Him. For prayers Click here
