BEST UNEXPECTED BLESSING

Post date: Apr 6, 2016 12:58:52 AM

It was just one unexpected encounter that Abraham got with the Almighty God that made him the person we all talk about and refer to everyday in all faith. That single encounter brought a complete and everlasting change in his destiny with a very unique testimony. My desire is God to give you that same unexpected encounter in ways that will magnify His name, give you peace and joy, change your words for the very best, change your achievements to that which none in your entire family had ever had or dream of; change the way people see, regard and respect you; bring the change that will bless your profession, confession, location and family history as that of Abraham. I ask God to give you the unexpected encounter that will change your name and bring respect to your generation in every location. The story of Abraham is true and real; yours will be true and real; though it came unexpected, Abraham did not miss it, you will not miss yours as it will come unexpectedly. The Almighty God is still doing wonders in our days. My prayer that through grace, power, the blood and name of Jesus Christ, you will receive, will hear, and will see those things that you never expected but are very needful to make you the person God wants you to be, fulfilled, happy and joyful according to His will and plans for you,

Before the name Abraham appeared in the Holy Scripture, we knew nothing about him except being the son of Terah, married to Sarah, had a nephew called Lot, born in Mesopotamia in the city called Ur of the Chaldees and they were pagan worshipers. Before the unexpected event that brought him to the brightness of his days and time, to the greatest joy and the fulfilled unending blessings of God that is passed down to Christians in all generations, he was a man without any recorded dreams, any recorded visions; any recorded divine desires, any recorded understanding of the words of God, and without any expectations or pursuit of exceptional things that shows godliness; but after that unexpected encounter with God the Father Almighty, Abraham became a changed and new man; he became a man who hears from God; a man who obeys God’s words and follow them; a man who diligent enough to believe every word and every detail of God’s words; a man who never discard any promises of God even when they were delayed or when he was considered too old to see the fulfillment. He became a man that God would begin a new relationship with, given the promise of a new generation of believers and followers, a man whom through him, God brought out a people who He can call His own and make Him name known and respected all through eternity. Every new day brings new opportunity and every opportunity brings hope and every hope when faith is rightly applied, there is every assurance of opportunity becoming real, joyful, very benefiting and highly rewarding.

Abraham started with an encounter and walked in faith to make the encounter effective. “Now faith is the assurance, title deed, confirmation of things hoped for divinely guaranteed, and the evidence of things not seen, the conviction of their reality, faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses. For by this kind of faith the men of old gained divine approval. By faith Abraham, when he was called by God, obeyed by going to a place which he was to receive as an inheritance; and he went not knowing where he was going. By faith he lived as a foreigner in the Promised Land, as in a strange land, living in tents as nomads with Isaac and Jacob, who were fellow heirs of the same promise. For he was waiting expectantly and confidently looking forward to the city which has foundations, an eternal, heavenly city whose architect and builder is God. By faith even Sarah herself received the ability to conceive a child, even when she was long past the normal age for it, because she considered Him who had given her the promise to be reliable and true to His word. So from one man, though he was physically as good as dead, were born as many descendants as the stars of heaven in number and innumerable as the sand on the seashore.” Hebrews 11:1; 6-12.
