LORD, I AM AVAILABLE USE ME

It will be truly amazing to know what the Lord can, and will do with you and for you; but it more amazing to truly know what He intends to do through you. It is of interest to know that when the Lord wants to use you for anything in this life, He will first expose you to that thing in a way that might not first understand why. He will also expose you to many others that are similar; He will expose you to things that will constantly prick your heart, question your mind and thoughts, your eyes of what you see, hear, feel and will also challenge your experience.

It is in your efforts to overcome those challenges that you will develop quickly, meet greater challenges, greater risks and face tough choices. It is in the process of your trying to answer those questions, overcome those challenges and make right choices that will open your eyes to see beyond your initial thoughts, opens your ears to hear more, gives you the hunger to get it done and also shows you how impossible it will be for you to achieve that on your own without having to depend on the Lord for the grace.

It is in your effort to discover the way out of the impossibility that you can clearly announce your availability to be helped and used by God. This is where your true submission will be questioned, tested and approved by the Lord. It is in your submission that you discover the way of the Lord, discover and confirm your true potential, hear the call to be used and receive the needed grace to achieve the necessary results that will glorify God.

When you give yourself to be used by God in any capacity, two things you should never forget (1) the challenges that will come thereafter from known and unknown sources, even from areas that had previously be very peaceful and comfortable to you. (2) The victory that you will have through Christ Jesus when you fully submit yourself to Him in obedience and for guidance.

One thing is quite certain, before God uses you to touch the lives and situations of others in any way, He will first touch you. He will not tough others positively without first touching positively, He will not transform others through you without Him transforming you first; He will not bless others through you without first blessing you. You are the key for God to use in reaching the world; you are the first to experience God before others will experience God through you, and you become God’s instrument in touching the world for good.

Endeavor to keep your eyes on the God who alone is able to give you the victory that no one else will ever be able. Remember, with God you will not fail despite the challenges. Though He had promise Abraham a land and the freedom of all his descendants from slavery, He had to call Moses to lead Israel out to the Promised Land so He can fulfill His promise to Abraham. God is willing to use you to fulfill His words and His promises to the people. God will never use the proud and the boasters irrespective of their religious titles, wealth and knowledge. He will never use sinners irrespective of their sweet words and good programs. He will surely require your submission before giving you the assignment.

“He leads the humble in what is right, and the humble He teaches His way. All the paths of the Lord are mercy and steadfast love, even truth and faithfulness are they for those who keep His covenant and His testimonies. For Your name’s sake, O Lord, pardon my iniquity and my guilt, for they are great. Who is the man who reverently fears and worships the Lord? Him shall He teach in the way that he should choose. He himself shall dwell at ease, and his offspring shall inherit the land. The secret of the Lord have they who fear Him, and He will show them His covenant and reveal to them its deep meaning. My eyes are ever toward the Lord, for He will pluck my feet out of the net. Lord turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted. The troubles of my heart are multiplied; bring me out of my distresses. Behold my affliction and my pain and forgive all my sins. Consider my enemies.” Psalm 25:9-21. For prayer Click here
