DIVINE TIMING

When something does not happen at the expect time in the expected promised way, it means that same thing will happen at a better timing in a far better way. In every situation and in every life, there is what is called a divine timing. It is a time that God only reign over, and controls every situation by His gracious power. A time that God shows up to do what men cannot do and what you have not been able to do by your power. It is a time that nothing holds you back again from moving forward according to the promises, design and purposes of God for your life. It is a time that the devil will no longer be able to resist you, but folds his arms and see you manifesting all of God’s desires for your life and your dreams far and beyond all his hindering power against you. It is a time that joy reverses its course for you to laugh and rejoice while your situations changes for good forever while your enemies’ looks on with shame, sadness and deep regret.

Divine timing is not a time of dreams or wishes; it is a time of the outpouring of the glory of God upon individuals who have been waiting for such a moment to come and change their lives and every of their adverse situations miraculously.

Do not allow disappointments to result in your becoming resistive to God and to others, God still loves you. Do not allow your timing be the source of your bitterness and anger against yourself or anyone else. Do not allow delays, denials and failure to generate the spirit of revenge in your heart and never condemn yourself irrespective of what the devil may do or the number of disappointments you have experienced in life. There is a timing that nothing can ever resist, it is called divine timing. It is a perfect time for all expectations, dreams, prayers and desires.

Everyone needs a divine intervention in their life and situations but not everyone is ready to wait for it. Every promise, every vision and every desire has a perfect time of fulfillment. The passage of time and all the disappointment in life is only human and has been proven to be an inaccurate parameter several times over in measuring our next time blessings and accomplishments in life.

We all know how David was divinely anointed by Samuel to be the next king in Israel and how the wild animals in the forest, Goliath, Saul and other human beings fought and challenged him, but he never gave up the expectation. We also know that at the divinely appointed time, David was made the king despite all the resistance and confrontations. That same David gave us a hint into his life during his long period of waiting. He wrote “I waited patiently and expectantly for the Lord; and He inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up out of a horrible pit [a pit of tumult and of destruction], out of the miry clay (froth and slime), and set my feet upon a rock, steadying my steps and establishing my goings. And He has put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many shall see and fear (revere and worship) and put their trust and confident reliance in the Lord. Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who makes the Lord his refuge and trust, and turns not to the proud or to followers of false gods. Many, O Lord my God, are the wonderful works which You have done, and Your thoughts toward us; no one can compare with You! If I should declare and speak of them, they are too many to be numbered.” Psalms 40:1-5

David said he waited patiently with expectations of the fulfillment of the promise through the anointing. That should be your life-style from today. When you are disappointed, keep your expectation alive and keep trusting your God. When things are not working as expected never change your expectation because of the promise. Remember, at the appointed time, God will intervene with His divine mercy and power, snatching you out of the pit of destruction and failure, wash you clean, put a new song in your mouth and set your feet on a rock and establish your ways forever. He did for David; He will do also for you. For prayers and encouragement during difficult times, someone is here to pray with you. Click here
