Wherever God had taken you to in this planet earth and in life, He wants you to survive gracefully; He wants you to make progress despite the gossips, the jealousy and the favoritism that seeks to impede progress in that place that He had destined for you; He wants you to have an impact that will glorify His name above anything else; He wants you to grow in obedience, to grow in His grace, to grow and increase in faithfulness to Him; He wants you to be physically and spiritually strong; He wants you to remain relevant to Him and to the things committed to you there to do; He wants you to be focused on the mission and not distracted by the powers that will rise against you; He wants you to have an increase above where and what you were before; He wants you to be strong morally and in the truth; He wants you to remember Him as your source in life; He wants you to serve Him with all diligence; and He wants you to remain faithful to Him, to His call and to His mission and He is ready to make that happen to you.

Wherever the anointing of God had taken you to in life, God wants you to remain faithful to the commission of the anointing; He wants you to remain truthful and peaceful to the anointing; He want you to trust the anointing to speak and fight for you; He wants you to know that you were anointed to carry out a mission; you were anointed to fulfill His plans and you were anointed for a purpose and that purpose can definitely be fulfilled by you. He wants you to know that the anointed will defend you, will guide you, will lead you and will bless your life. He wants you to know that the road will be rough and tough but you will survive and have good success, and God wants you to know that the symbol of the anointing is the symbol of His authority and presence. God wants you to remember that when the Holy Spirit came upon Jesus Christ after His baptism, He was led into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil not to be defeated by the devil, not to be destroyed by the devil and not to suffer any harm in his presence. Jesus Christ our Lord succeeded and He is able and willing to give you the same success also where you are today.

After David was anointed by Samuel, he went to a battle and there he killed Goliath, the news of his success spread and King Saul took him into his palace and offered David a position which he could not refuse. It is good to note that David was anointed to be the next king after Saul and not to be a servant in the palace. It was the design, plan and purpose of God through the power of the anointing that brought David to the palace not because he was able to kill Goliath, the killing of Goliath only announced his ability in warfare. The palace of King Saul was a place of serious competition, a place of constant threat; a place where jealousy seats and ruin reigns, a place that easily provokes hatred for no reason, a place that friendship does not last and the only thing that can help anyone survive will be God and His ordained relationship. What kept David from being killed and what him survive in the palace was nothing else but the immediate relationship he established the moment he stepped into the palace that faithful day with no one else but the first son King Saul, Jonathan. It was not an ordinary relationship but a covenant relationship. “After David had finished talking with Saul, he met Jonathan, the king’s son. There was an immediate bond between them, for Jonathan loved David. From that day on Saul kept David with him and wouldn’t let him return home. And Jonathan made a solemn pact with David because he loved him as he loved himself. Jonathan sealed the pact by taking off his robe and giving it to David, together with his tunic, sword, bow, and belt. Whatever Saul asked David to do, David did it successfully. So Saul made him a commander over the men of war, an appointment that was welcomed by the people and Saul’s officers’ alike.1 Samuel 18:1-5. That relationship enabled David to confirm the evil intent of Saul to kill him; it helped David escape the palace and the place of his supposed death unharmed, it helped David have an assurance of the protection he needed, and it helped David live and see the fulfillment of what God had promised him, the next king.
