I SAY NO TO THE FEARS IN MY LIFE (1)

Post date: Sep 24, 2018 12:40:37 AM

“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but He has given us a spirit of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control” 2 Timothy 1:7. There is a bit or much of fear in everyone’s life irrespective of location, name, age, gender, wealth, position and religion. Being bold to stand up to situations in your life is not because of the absence of fear but because of the tendency and a strong to go beyond the behind the scene of fear and the bad tendencies that magnifies fear in our lives and ways. Fear has a tremendous amount of controlling power at any time to limit you from doing what want and what you know is right; it can stop you from saying what you know and want to say and it can cripple your senses of reasoning, but fear will not destroy you unless you have accepted what it says and what it wants; unless you have given up on the truth that you know; unless you have given up on your dreams and godly desires because of the situations and delays and previous disappointments; unless you have given up trying to do what you had failed previously by default, or carelessness or mistakes in a better way; unless you have given up trusting in the God you know, served, and worshiped; unless you have given up walking in the power of true love, true faith in the word of God and believing that same word as the only true way for you; unless you have magnified that fear beyond your ability to handle the situation and unless you have allowed the works of the fear to place a permanent restriction on your thoughts, on your words, on your dreams and on whatever and whoever God had given to activate your motivation. Note that there is no fear that men in various places had not defeated in their lives, in their family, in their professions, careers, finances, in their marriage and relationships. God is calling you today to stand up from where fear had placed you and defeat that controlling and limiting powers of fear that had hindered, stopped and prevented you from going beyond where and what you are now and becoming better in life.

The fear of the past is real but that should not prevent you from trusting the future that God will definitely unfold through your believe and trust in Christ Jesus here on earth and later in heaven. May I declare to you today that God is not willing that you remain in your past irrespective of what it was; He has better a future for you always and He had promised you that in His words, He is taking you there, and the Satan does not want that to happen to you. You cannot worship and serve God in vain, you cannot trust Him and remain defeated always, you cannot be truthful to His words without a reward, you cannot work in obedience without repeating the benefits, and you cannot suffer in His name and remain in fear for daring to believe and follow Him.

Satan had placed fear in your heart for a purpose that he best understands, but that purpose will not stand because God has a better purpose for your life; Satan had placed fear in your spirit to control your thoughts, imaginations, and emotions to submission to his plans and intents, but God always has better plans for His children. God said in Jeremiah 29:11-14, “I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for. Then you will call to me. You will come and pray to me, and I will answer you. You will seek me, and you will find me because you will seek me with all your heart. Yes, I say, you will find me, and I will restore you to your land. I will gather you from every country and from every place to which I have scattered you, and I will bring you back to the land from which I had sent you away into exile. I, the Lord, have spoken.” Say no to all the intents of fear in your life; say no to the destructions that fear had brought into your life; say no to its damaging works; say no to the desires and workings of your enemies, I say no the plans and purpose of Satan. We are told in James 4:7 to resist the Satan and he will run away and I know he will. For prayers Click here
