I WILL END WELL

Post date: Nov 5, 2014 5:01:18 AM

Life is consistently filled with so many hard to predict and  uncertain circumstances, so many ups and so many downs, the ones we are prepared for and the ones we never prepare for; life is filled daily with great expectations and several disappointments also; it has a mixed bag for everyone to share. While some people will have it all good and correct to expectations today, others will have their own good time and correct expectations some other day. I pray that through God’s unfailing love and magnified grace, you will never remain in your days forever, and your bad days will not blind you from see your good days.

Though no one ever prays or wishes for a bad day, but whenever you experience one, I pray that you will come out of it soon and will be unharmed by its negative effects; I pray that it will not remain with you till the next day or the next year; I pray that it will hinder your dreams and expectations for that day and for that period and for that project. I pray that your good days will outnumber your bad days, and your good dreams will outnumber your bad dream, and that God will help you to fulfill all your good desires that will exalt Him in and through you on earth.

Just as the day and the night, so is the sun and the moon; just like the seasons of the year comes and goes, so goes life along with it. But despite the ups and the downs of life; despite the brightness of the days and the darkness of the nights; despite the good expectations and the disappointment therein; God is right there with you to make right that which is wrong in your life, to make perfect that which He had promised you before you were born, to establish your feet on solid grounds and to ensure that you will end your day well in Him.

Your dreams may have been in great trouble recently; your world may be tumbling faster than you ever think and expect; faster than the world of others around you may be; your frustrations in life may have been elevated by recent negative events and troubling life situations; the darkness and uncertainty over your present day and your future may be too thick and far beyond your efforts and imaginations; but despite all that, in Christ Jesus, you will definitely end well.

Sarah and her husband were rich enough in all things but Sarah had difficulties having a baby of from her own womb would carry her DNA. Though the family were rich enough to do whatever they wanted with their riches; the power of their riches could not guarantee Sarah a child of her own and she had to wait till she was ninety years old for God’s glorious and divine intervention to take place before holding her own child in her own hands with all the joy she could show to whoever might be interested to see and to know.

Despite all the expectations of the wicked against her; despite all the uncomplimentary words and names that she had been forced to answer by reason of her inability to conceive; despite all frustrations in thoughts and several disappointing attempts at settling and having some comfort; despite all her alternative arrangements with her maids; and despite all the pains and frustrations she suffered in seeking to have a baby, she ended her search well and joyfully.

These are the words of Sarah: “Abraham was a hundred years old when Isaac was born. And Sarah said, God has made me to laugh; all who hear will laugh with me. And she said, who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children at the breast? For I have borne him a son in his old age. And the child grew and was weaned, and Abraham made a great feast the same day that Isaac was weaned.” Genesis 21:5-8

Despite her problems, she ended well and gloriously as God had destined and as He had planned for her and her baby. Despite all the odds, you will end well, this situation will end well, your concerns and fears will end well, your family, carrier, and in all other things will end well. Sarah ended her search for a child with a great feast because it was well, so will yours be. For prayers, Click here
