GIVE ME SOMETHING NEW FROM NOW OH LORD (14)

“Now in Haran the Lord had said to Abram, go away from your country, and from your relatives and from your father’s house, to the land which I will show you.” Genesis 12:1. That was a word of command from the Lord for a purpose that He later revealed to Abraham in the promises that followed thereafter. Do you know God did not ask Abraham to move because of insecurity in the place where he was or for any known or unknown security reasons? Do you know God did not ask Abraham to move because of fear of what the people might do to him or against him when all the increase and blessings He had promised start happening in his life? Do you know God did not ask Abraham to move out because He was not able or willing to bless him where he was in his parent’s house and country in Paran? Do you know Abraham did not hesitate when God asked him to move and did not look back when he began the movement? Abraham did not regret that action, did not regret that faithfulness, did not regret that obedience later in life and God did not fail in His words and promises. “By faith Abraham, when he was called by God, obeyed by going to a place which he was to receive as an inheritance; and he went, not knowing where he was going. Now Abraham was old, well advanced in age; and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things.” Hebrews 11:8; Genesis 24:1

As you follow Christ Jesus without looking back an without giving up your faith, your obedience and your love for Him, His work and His people, you will not regret your decisions based on His words; you will not regret your actions based on His words; you will not regret your faithfulness to Him, to His words, and to His work; and you will not regret your obedience to Him and to His words despite what the devil will ever do to or against you. God will not fail you in any way and on this journey of faith and obedience, you will not regret it. Abraham suffered many things, he suffered delays, harassments, he had doubts and fears, yet he kept his focus on the Lord and God made it possible for Abraham to live and see the reward of the words he believed, of the promises he followed and of the God he trusted. Do you know God knows your future before He reveals them to you? He will definitely take you there in this very life.

You have gone through many things already in life and will still go through many, yet God still remains faithful to His words, to His plans, and to His purpose for your life, and He will make it as He had said. “It is because of the Lord’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed because His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great and beyond measure is Your faithfulness. I am the Lord, and I do not change. That is why you descendants of Jacob are not already destroyed” Lamentation 3:22-23; Malachi 3:6

Do you know that God is preserving you for something that He is about to make visible, possible and new on earth? He is preserving you for something that will be good and better not for you alone but also for the generation to come; something that will honor His name in your life and on earth; something that will bring you to the place and position of honor and respect according to all His plans and purpose. He is preserving you for something that your present case or situation or position or location cannot and will not be able to prevent or handle successfully and at the appointed time according to His plans, He will do it. Remain faithful, unmoved, unshaken and ever trusting in the Lord and follow His words. God is still faithful today as He was before; He is still with and to us as He was to Abraham; He is still guarding and leading us as He led Abraham even when we do not know it or know we are going, even when we do not feel it, and even when we do not see it happening now. Even in this very life, despite all the prevailing situations, the uncertainties, the shame, the disgrace, the dishonor, and the lack, it is very certain that as you keep follow Him, as you keep your trust in Him, as you keep believing His words, you will arrive at His definite destination, position and location for your life.
