Post date: Feb 4, 2016 1:36:05 AM

David said: “I waited patiently and expectantly for the Lord; and He inclined to me and heard my cry. He brought me up out of a horrible pit of tumult and of destruction, out of the miry clay, and He set my feet upon a rock, steadying my footsteps and establishing my path. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; many will see and fear and will trust confidently in the Lord. Blessed and favored is the man who makes the Lord his trust, and does not regard the proud nor those who lapse into lies. Many, O Lord my God, are the wonderful works which You have done, and Your thoughts toward us; there is none to compare with You. If I would declare and speak of your wonders, they would be too many to count. Sacrifice and meal offering You do not desire, nor do You delight in them; You have opened my ears and given me the capacity to hear and obey Your word; Burnt offerings and sin offerings You do not require. Then I said, behold, I come in the scroll of the book it is written of me. I delight to do Your will, O my God; Your law is within my heart. I have proclaimed good news of righteousness and the joy that comes from obedience to You in the great assembly; Behold, I will not restrain my lips from proclaiming Your righteousness, as You know, O Lord.” Psalm 40:1-10

You cannot miss the best things that had been destined for you in life when the Living Lord God Almighty orders your steps each day irrespective of the amount of frustrations from the devil and all his agent will ever throw at you; irrespective of the fear on that road, the disappointments from people you work with and trust, the delays you will experience and the denials of men who are supposed to help and those competing to take you place or derail your life and all the things you have been promised, those you have been working for and those you are believing to achieve in the coming days and this year. When God orders your steps you cannot miss the mark of His excellence in your life and profession; when He orders your ways into any place irrespective of the location, the terrain, the mountains, the hills, the roughness and the difficulties, you will not fall out of His security and will not miss partaking in the blessings. Remember He did not say it will be easy, but He definitely promised it will be possible and He will enable you.

The journey may be tough and the way very rough, but it is curtained that when the Lord orders your steps, you will definitely reach the peak that He had destined and scheduled you for. It was not immediately after the anointing of David as the next king after Saul that he resumed on duty in the palace to take over from King Saul. The God who anointed his head ordered his steps each day through whatever will ever come after him for destruction of his flesh and the stoppage of what God had schedule for his life. The true story of David and everything about him actually started immediately after the anointing by Samuel according to the words and schedule of God for his life. Since then, nothing was able to stop David’s accession to the throne God had said for him; the lions and the bears came against him, God gave him the strength to kill them; he was abandoned in the forest, God gave him the skill that was so much needed to help king Saul reduce the suffering in his life in the palace; God made a way for the talent to the recognized and David received a recommendation that facilitated his relocated from the forest to the place. At the palace he survived several attempts in his life and relocated to the caved with a group of men that were much more in need than himself, from there God gave him several victories in battles and finally crowd him King after the death of Saul. All through his life journey, God ordered his steps and ensured nothing evil happened to him despite all the wickedness he experienced. One thing is quite very certain, God will not order the steps of the wicked. My desire and prayer for you is that God will order your steps as He orders your heart from now on and establish you on a foundation that will forever glorify His Holy name as he did to David and extended the same to all of His descendants. In Jesus name Amen. Click here for prayer.
