A GOOD, PLEASING, AND PERFECT WILL (1)

We have desires, dreams, and aspiring for something good, pleasing, and perfect in our lives, in our jobs, health, finances, and for our families; while God wants us to have success and see our dreams, desires, and aspirations fulfilled, He also has a good, a pleasing, and a perfect will for us (you) in this same life and in those things we have the dreams, desires, and aspirations for. While He gives us the grace to have dreams, the insight and minds to have desires, and the strength needed to physically work on our dreams, desires, and aspirations; did you know that God is also looking out for us (you) much more than you may think and know in all areas? God says He knows the thoughts He has for us (you) despite all our failures, humiliations, loneliness, insults, rejection, pains, and hidden cries in our (your) hearts; despite the shame, abuse, lack, suffering, and joy we have, He has a will and a plan which are good, pleasing, and perfect for us (you). He knows His thoughts for you that they are good; He has plans for you that are pleasing; He has a perfect understanding of our (your) lives and situations and His  plans; He knows the way to the place His plans will be perfectly fulfilled, and He is not slacking in any way in leading to that place. He will take you there. He wants you to know that His plans are good, you should not be discouraged; He wants you to know that His will are pleasant, you should not fear, and He wants you to know that His ways had been perfected to bring you the kind of success and the victory that is good, pleasing, and very perfect in every situation, circumstances and occasion. He wants you to know that your location and the people will not hinder Him, the circumstances which are prevailing will not deter Him, His will, and they will be fulfilled.

When old visions are not working as we saw them; when our will are not coming forth as we had envisaged; when our prayers seem hindered despite praying fervently and humbly, and when our wills and desires to continue praying and trusting God seems hard and very difficult; when we become afraid and tired of praising God and tired even of the things that make us joyful before, we should know that the Almighty God we serve with all our heart still has a good, pleasing, and perfect will for us and His plans will work for us.

This is God’s word and will for you: “The Lord says, come, everyone who is thirsty, here is water; come, you that have no money buy grain and eat. Come, buy wine and milk, it will cost you nothing. Why spend money on what does not satisfy? Why spend your wages and still be hungry? Listen to me and do what I say, and you will enjoy the best food of all. Listen now, my people, and come to me; come to me, and you will have life. I will make a lasting covenant with you and give you the blessings I promised to David. I made him a leader and commander of nations, and through him, I showed them my power. Now you will summon foreign nations; at one time they did not know you, but now they will come running to join you. I the Lord your God, the holy God of Israel, will make all this happen; I will give you honor and glory. Turn to the Lord and pray to him, now that He is near. Let the wicked leave their way of life and change their way of thinking. Let them turn to the Lord our God; He is merciful and quick to forgive. My thoughts say the Lord, are not like yours, and my ways are different from yours. As high as the heavens are above the earth, so high are my ways and thoughts above yours. My word is like the snow and the rain that come down from the sky to water the earth. They make the crops grow and provide seeds for planting and food to eat. So also will be the word that I speak, it will not fail to do what I plan for it; it will do everything I send it to do. You will leave Babylon with joy; you will be led out of the city in peace. The mountains and hills will burst into singing, and the trees will shout for joy. Cypress trees will grow where now there are briers; myrtle trees will come up in place of thorns. This will be a sign that will last forever, a reminder of what I, the Lord have done.” Isaiah 55:1-13. For prayers, Click here
