BECAUSE JESUS CHRIST IS ALIVE

For Jesus Christ to rise from dead God had to personally intervene by sending His angle to rip open the grave at the appointed time; He sent forth the Holy Spirit to raise Him up from where they had laid Him, to silence all the spiritual, the physical and the military forces that stood to oppose, to resist, and to hinder Him. On the resurrection day, our Lord Jesus Christ had no resistance walking off the grave despite all that they used to prevent that movement; that was made possible because the power of God the Father was with Him, the presence of God the Father was with Him, the Holy Spirit from our Father in heaven was with Him, and all the angels of God the Father from heaven were with Him. With all the powers from heaven present, there was nothing the devil could do to avert that resurrection from taking place as originally intended.

The resurrection power is far beyond the reach of the resistance of the forces of darkness; it is far beyond the limitations of all satanic forces combined; it is far beyond the forces that had been walking against everything that God had instituted in heaven and on earth; it is far beyond the predictions of men, the imaginations and knowledge of the educationist; and it is far beyond whatever you might be thinking are the reasons that had kept you back and behind.

For the undeniable fact that our Lord and savior Christ Jesus is alive, there is every hope that things can’t remain that bad with any of His children forever; there is a strong assurance that you will definitely fulfill the promises you have been holding on to since the day you began believing in Him; there is every certainty that you will overcome all obstacles, all limitations, all stigmas, and will live the life He had promised in His words; and there is every confidence that you will live to see better days, you will live to have better things, you will have the victory, you will have the grace to excel, and you will also experience all the blessings in all of His words spoken and written to you, all of His words you have read and meditated upon, all of His goodness in the land of the living, and you will see the blessings of being a true and believing Christian.

There are fears in almost everything everywhere, but despite the existence and ever increasing fears in almost everything under the heavens; just because Jesus Christ lives, you will overcome those fears, you will overcome those huddles and you will overcome the reasons for the fears. Fear holds back all good thoughts and actions, hinder dreams, visions, and destroy good courage that will result in your goodness now and in the nearest future. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is our confidence in living today; the resurrection is our confidence in worshiping God; the resurrection is our confidence in gathering together to pray and hear His words; the resurrection is our hope for better days; the resurrection is our confidence in being faithful and remaining faithful till the very end; the resurrection is our confidence in being truthful and committed to all the truth in Christianity; the resurrection is our confidence in loving others and working with others to advance the kingdom of God on earth.

Because you believe in His Holy name, and follow His divine words, you will never be put to shame by the devil; because you believe in all of His promises, you will receive the grace to see all of them fulfilled in your life. Because Jesus Christ resurrected from the dead, you have every assurance that you will be where God had destined for you in this very life. “Mary was standing outside the tomb crying, and as she wept, she stooped and looked in. She saw two white-robed angels, one sitting at the head and the other at the foot of the place where the body of Jesus had been lying. Dear woman, why are you crying? The angels asked her. Because they have taken away my Lord, she replied, and I don’t know where they have put him. She turned to leave and saw someone standing there. It was Jesus, but she didn’t recognize him. Dear woman, why are you crying? Jesus asked her. Who are you looking for? She thought he was the gardener. Sir, she said, “if you have taken him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will go and get him. Mary, Jesus said. She turned to him and cried out, Rabboni.” John 20:11-16.
