SOME GOOD PROMISES FOR BELIEVING GOD

Post date: Sep 21, 2017 11:54:59 PM

Believing in God will strengthen your faith in all things that you will ever face in life: “While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said, thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further? As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, be not afraid, only believe.” Mark 5:36

Believing in God will encourage you to keep up with your desires and expectations in life even when they are delayed: “Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: but these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” John 20:29-31

Believing in God guarantees deliverance from all condemnation, forgiveness of sins and eternal life with Him in heaven: “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. They replied, believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” John 3:36; John 5:24; Acts 16:31

Believing in God raises your hope for better days despite your present experiences: “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” Romans 15:13; John 14:1-3

Believing God will enable you to take steps towards meeting your expectations in faith: “Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me, there is no savior. They said to the woman, we no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world. But I did not believe these things until I came and saw with my own eyes. Indeed, not even half was told me; in wisdom and wealth, you have far exceeded the report I heard. The time has come, he said. The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news.”  Isaiah 43:10-11; John 4:12; 1 Kings 10:7; Mark 1:15

Believing God will strengthen your prayer life, give you boldness and confidence; “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. Surely the righteous will never be shaken; they will be remembered forever. They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the LORD. If anyone causes one of these little ones, those who believe in me, to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. The LORD said to Moses, “How long will these people treat me with contempt? How long will they refuse to believe in me, in spite of all the signs I have performed among them? Mark 11:24; Matthew 21:22; Psalm 112:6-7; Matthew 18:6; Numbers 14:11. Never stop believing God. Your success story as Christian must begin in your believing in God. The success story of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Noah, Moses, Jacob, Hannah, Job, Jabez, Daniel, Joseph and many others despite their difficulties began through believing God and yours should not be otherwise. Their beliefs brought them success, deliverance, directions, joy, restoration, victory and a good testimony. God will grant yours. For Prayers, Click here
