"DEAR FATHER, WHERE SHOULD I GO? (1)"

Post date: Mar 20, 2018 3:55:32 AM

Where to go is a problem to everyone but God desires to lead you to a better place, He wants to direct you to a fruitful place, He desires the best for you, and He can successfully take you there but not on your terms; He knows you well enough to lead you, He knows what is best for you now and always, He knows the place where your destiny lies like that of Adam and Eve which was at the Garden of Eden, Abraham and generations in the Promised Land, and Moses in the house of Pharaoh and under his care; He knows where He had kept your promised and expected blessing, and He is willing to lead you to that place if you will follow His instructions and not instruct Him on where you want or what to do. Everyone wants to go to a place where it will be convenient, a place where dreams will be fulfilled, a place where life will be excellent, a place where good things will start happening fast, a place where success will not be with struggles, endless challenges, and suffering; everyone wants to be in a place they can see results quickly, a place where their talents, education, and gifts will be known, accepted, used, and celebrated, and a place where it will be spiritually and physically profitable for them. No one wants to be a loser, no one wants to go to a place infested with evil and people with questionable character, no one wants to go where they will not be accepted, known, and celebrated, and no one wants to go where they will not make gains. But as good as our minds and our assumptions will ever be, the best place for you to go is where God wants you to go even when such a place is not what you want or where you desire or assume will be better for you.

One thing I want you to know is that God will not send you to any place to be destroyed, to any place that you will be irrelevant or to any place that you will not be what He intends and designed for you. He knows you and He knows the place, and He knows the path that leads to the place of your destiny well enough to lead you successfully there by His words, His grace, and His power; He knows the storms on that road and He is well able to help you through till you reach the destined destination. Are you ready to be led by God and by His words to the place prepared for you or you want Him to lead yourself to the place you want, to the place you desire, to the place you already know, and to a place you are convinced will be the best for you in your heart? God knows your future better than you do, He knows your strength and what you can do better and He knows the place you can be more useful than the place you think in your heart. When you allow God to lead you, He will also keep you, He will defend you, and He will direct your heart to the things to do by His words and He will bless you and your efforts.

Jesus Christ ones told a blind man where to go and it was not what was expected by the man but it was the place God had chosen to prove His word and to restore his sight. God told Jonah to go to the land of Nineve and when he went the opposite direction because of what he knew, wanted, and desired, we know what happened thereafter; when Elisha asked Naaman to go wash himself in the Jordan River, it was for his restoration and healing even though Naaman did not want to there because the water was not clean enough for his liking, and what he knew and wanted but because of his expectations, he was persuaded to go there and we know the result.“As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man who had been blind from birth. Rabbi, his disciples asked him, why was this man born blind? Was it because of his own sins or his parents’ sins? It was not because of his sins or his parents’ sins, Jesus answered. This happened so the power of God could be seen in him. We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent us. The night is coming, and then no one can work. But while I am here in the world, I am the light of the world. Then he spit on the ground, made mud with the saliva, and spread the mud over the blind man’s eyes. He told him, go wash yourself in the pool of Siloam. So the man went and washed and came back seeing.” John 9:1-7. For prayer Click here
