AND THIS WOMAN RECEIVED MERCY

She was rightly accused by the people, caught physically in what the people accused her of, was rightly judged by all according to law, they were fixed on carrying out the verdit of the judgment on her as a deterent to others, but at the point of dispensation of that judgement, this woman saw mercy in action not before or from the people, but before Jesus Christ and from Jesus Christ, she was taken before Christ Jesus for confirmation of their right and lawful judement and to enable them execute her sentence, but she received mercy she could never be thought possible, she enjoyed mercy no one else had ever told her, and she regained her life and freedom from the people and from the judgement, that is what mercy can and will do for you. God’s mercy can do amazing things irrespective of the right or wrong accusation by the people, irrespective of the motive behind such actions, irrespective of the judgment handed out and about to be executed. Christ showed this woman mercy beyond her understanding and the understanding of the people.

Beyond the expectation of her accusers, God showed her mercy, release her from their plans and gave her life and freedom. Who is still standing to afflict you? Who is still continuing to course you? Who is still taking you or your name to unfamiliar places? Who is still waking up to abuse you and desiring to enforce his or her evil thoughts and works against you? God will show you mercy, He will turn the situations, He will set you free, and He will give you life. The ways of God’s mercies are not understood by men, they are outside of the prevailing law, outside of the kindness of men; beyond favor received and favor promised; beyond the best help anyone can receive or have promised; beyond our dreams, and beyond our labor. If your spouse had rejected you or is showing unfaithfulness, God will give you mercy; if you have been rejected for any reason, God will give you mercy; if you have been denied love, care, help, or favor, God will show you mercy; if you have been sent away empty, God will show and will give you mercy.

“Jesus returned to the Mount of Olives, but early the next morning he was back again at the Temple. A crowd soon gathered, and he sat down and taught them.As he was speaking, the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in the act of adultery. They put her in front of the crowd. Teacher, they said to Jesus, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. The law of Moses says to stone her. What do you say? They were trying to trap him into saying something they could use against him, but Jesus stooped down and wrote in the dust with his finger. They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said, all right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone. Then he stooped down again and wrote in the dust. When the accusers heard this, they slipped away one by one, beginning with the oldest, until only Jesus was left in the middle of the crowd with the woman. Then Jesus stood up again and said to the woman, where are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you? No, Lord, she said. And Jesus said, neither do I. Go and sin no more. Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life. The Pharisees replied You are making those claims about yourself! Such testimony is not valid. Jesus told them, these claims are valid even though I make them about myself. For I know where I came from and where I am going, but you don’t know this about me. You judge me by human standards, but I do not judge anyone. And if I did, my judgment would be correct in every respect because I am not alone. The Father who sent me is with me. Your own law says that if two people agree about something, their witness is accepted as fact. I am one witness, and my Father who sent me is the other.” John 8:1-17. For prayer Click here
