“GOD KNEW YOU LONG BEFORE NOW”

Despite all the excuses you can ever give in life; despite the situation; the frustrations, the delays, the denials and the disappointments in life, God knows you long before today and had ordain your change and your joy. This is what He told Jeremiah “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations. O Sovereign Lord, I said, I can’t speak for you, I’m too young. The Lord replied, don’t say, I’m too young, for you must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you. And don’t be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and will protect you. I, the Lord, have spoken. Then the Lord reached out and touched my mouth and said, look, I have put my words in your mouth, Today I appoint you to stand up against nations and kingdoms. Some you must uproot and tear down, destroy and overthrow. Others you must build up and plant. Then the Lord said to me, look, Jeremiah, what do you see? And I replied, I see a branch from an almond tree. And the Lord said, that’s right, and it means that I am watching, and I will certainly carry out all my plans.” Jeremiah 1:5-12

You may think or say God had long forgotten all about you and your prayers; you may think or say God is uncaring because you have stayed too long in this particular situation, but that saying or thinking are untrue of your God. He has an everlasting memory and remembrance of everyone He called; of everyone He made in His image and likeness, of everything He had ever made and created and of every promise that had ever proceeded out of His mouth to anyone at any time in every place. He can never forget or forsake anyone washed and preserved by the blood of Jesus Christ. The God I know and serve never forgets and never forsakes; no situation is too tough for Him and no one is too insignificant in His eyes. No excuse is good enough and no thought is ever better than His thoughts and plans. He has you in His book of records for good and will never take your name out for any reason, He will fulfill His words

The God we serve will never be disappointed in anything; He will never be disgraced by anyone in any situation; will never regret saving anyone; will never speak what is wrong to anyone; will never forbid your success; will never fail in calling people to follow Him in love and peace; and will never withdraw His promises from anyone for any reason. What God had said of you had been fixed in His records and they are permanent; all of His promises to you are very true and very possible to be fulfilled by you. I am sure you are capable of bearing the expected fruits of those promises like Sarah despite her age and condemnation of men.

Before God promised Abraham and Sarah a son that will be called Isaac, He knew the two of them long before that they will never fail to have a son together despite the delays that they will have in life, and despite all the mistakes they will have to endure; all that they needed to do was to persist much longer in hope and in their trust in the words of God; to keep holding Him to His words of promises, which they did. True to His promises they did have that son called Isaac after twenty five years of waiting and trusting the word of God for their lives. Like Abraham and Sarah, God knew you will have all that He had promised despite the delays that is why He did promise you in the first place. All you have to do is to always hold on to a living hope, an active faith and a true trust in Him for your expectations. Do not look back and do not regret knowing and hoping and trusting and following God, and do not seek alternatives as Sarah did and cause trouble in the family of God. God will definitely give you exactly what He had promised you. Long before Hannah was laughed at by others as a woman without a child, and long before her husband decided to console her because of her condition, she knew she could have a child; she knew there were no medical, physical or spiritual defect with in her womb, she knew she could nurse a child and God gave her a child.
