CHALLENGES AND REWARDS OF DETERMINATION

Up till this very day and in the future if Christ tarries, God wants and uses people with a proper focus on Him and a purposeful determination to see glory magnified in their lives for all of His exploits in spiritual and physical things; the devil makes such people his target for destruction and disruption of their dreams, visions and desires; while the world uses such people as examples of evil just to magnify the devil’s plans. These groups of people are always subjected to all forms of satanic interferences in everything they do, they often suffer frustrations, humiliations, pains, sorrows, discouragement, disengagements, loneliness and separations, but despite being a target for evil by the devil, God will always stand with them; He will always defend them; He will always restore them and He will always use them again for His glory. The Almighty God will not turn His back on them; He will not close His eyes on their plights; He will not close His ears on their cries and prayers; even when He tarries long, His grace will sustain them till the day His glory will show forth His wonders in their lives for the world to see and appreciate their God.

A proper focus and a purposeful determination in life have the power to transform, protect, sustain and elevate anyone in whatever they are doing in life. Christ Jesus our Lord knew the world was a dangerous place before accepting to come and rescue humanity; He knew He will suffer and be killed; He knew men will mock Him and seek to destroy Him and He knows He will definitely die but despite what He knew, He was determined to fulfill the Fathers purpose for Himself and for all who will believe, trust, follow and rely on Him. It was determination that saw Him through the wickedness of men; it was determination that kept Him faithful despite the cruelty of men against Him; it was determination that made Him not to compromise His words and standards; it was determination that distinguished Him in the physical from all others; it was determination that made Him keep His eyes, his ears, and all of His attention on the Father. Nothing else but determination made Him trust the Father even when He was arrested, humiliated, condemned, abused, stripped naked and killed on the cross; it was His determination to remain with and for the Father that made God the father to restore him back to life according to His earlier promises. Your determination to remain faithful will draw a handsome reward from God the Father; your determination will make heaven accessible when you pray; your determination will provoke the promises of God to be manifested and fulfilled in your life; your determination will destroy the powers of darkness, erase the effects of discouragement, shame, and generational curses; it will turn your previous captivities into your present and future blessings and it will make you an envy of God and all of His children earth. Everyone in the bible that had shown determination in any form had never disappointed and none will be disappointed in our time.

Job was a man with an extraordinary character towards God and men; he was blameless by men and by God except Satan; he was a man who desired the best for himself through God and in his business; desired the best for his family, friends and children even when he knew they had gone astray; he desired the best for everyone around him; he was a man who knew and feared God; worship Him is the purity of his mind; scared of evil and sin; upright in business relationships; but with all that divine attribute , Satan made him his target for evil and God was there to defend him and to give Satan restriction concerning him. “There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job, and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God with reverence and abstained from and turned away from evil because he honored God. Then the Lord said to Satan, behold, all that Job has is in your power, only do not put your hand on the man himself, so Satan departed from the presence of the Lord” Job 1:1, 12. It was through his focus on God and determination to remain in Him that made God defend him; bless him and restored him in a more glorious way than he had ever been before. God has His eyes on you.
