NOT BEHIND, BUT IN FRONT

God is far ahead of every one of us in all things. Before He sends us on any errand, He had finished the job we are to do there. God will never leave anyone, sinners and saints, in any pathetic situation longer than necessary. He is Almighty in all seasons and in all situations. Before anything will ever happen to anyone, He knows it and assigns a period for it; nothing will make it go beyond that time line, except wickedness towards God. Before you will ever face any adverse situation in life, God had given it a time line in your life, family and business, and also given you a way of escaping it on time and in time. It is not in God’s nature to punish any one indefinitely.

Before Jacob and his children suffered famine and decided to go to Egypt for rescue where they subsequently became slave, God had told Abraham about 430 years before with a promise that at the fullness of time, they will be freed and it did happen. Before they went to Egypt, God had sent Joseph ahead to prepare the place for them, and before He took them out, He had prepared Moses ahead of time to lead the way.

God did not leave the children of Israel indefinitely in the land of slavery. He is always very compassionate. The days of sorrow, pains, sickness, cries, anguish, delays and denials are not indefinite, they are always numbered. You may be weak right now, but you are still living because the days of your weakness are numbered. You may be poor and in need right now, your days to remain like this are numbered. The days of hopelessness, faithlessness, discouragement, delays and denials, loneliness and separation are all numbered. You might be very sad right now, but the days of sadness are numbered. You may be unknown right now, but the days of your recognition are coming. You may not making great progress right now, yet you are still pressing on towards the mark of excellence. Though you are down right now, no one should write you off, because the days of your captivity is running out and will never be renewed.

The devil wanted to count eternity for Christ when He died, but God counted just three days and it was so. Daniels enemies wanted to count eternity for him in the lion’s den, but God counted just one night, and it was so. King Nebuchadnezzar wanted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to spend eternity in the burning furnace, but God immediate release, and it was so. It is not according to what the enemy wants but it is what God wants for you, your release and freedom. You must not be there indefinitely; your days of freedom are numbered.

“For no temptation (no trial regarded as enticing to sin), [no matter how it comes or where it leads] has overtaken you and laid hold on you that is not common to man [that is, no temptation or trial has come to you that is beyond human resistance and that is not adjusted and adapted and belonging to human experience, and such as man can bear]. But God is faithful [to His Word and to His compassionate nature], and He [can be trusted] not to let you be tempted and tried and assayed beyond your ability and strength of resistance and power to endure, but with the temptation He will [always] also provide the way out (the means of escape to a landing place), that you may be capable and strong and powerful to bear up under it patiently. Therefore, my dearly beloved, shun (keep clear away from, avoid by flight if need be) any sort of idolatry (of loving or venerating anything more than God)” 1 Corinthians 10:13-14 (AMP)

“For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you” 2 Corinthians 13:4

Christ was crucified in weakness, but He rose up with strength. Despite your weakness, sickness, delays and pains, I see you rising up with an overcoming strength from our Father above to fulfill everything that was written in heaven about you before you were born. Your God is always in the front of you in all situations. Amen
