BE COURAGEOUS

The toughest moment in every battle is when the victory is near, that is when insults becomes more sever and painful from all side, that is when hardship seems crunching and unbearable, that is when persecution is increased and unending, and that is when you feel like giving up the battle completely, because your strength had be drained, your best thoughts had been exhausted, you are confused and surrounded by tired and discouraged individuals who will point you at their own failures in life. But remember when this thing begins to show up in your life, your victory is near, be more courageous. You went into battle with boldness, but in every battle if you desire victory, you will have to remain in it with courage and with great patience.

Every battle has its beginning and will definitely have its end. You might have known or not have known the beginning of your battle, but as you persist in it with patience and courage, you will know and celebrate its end. The fullness of your strength at the point of victory will definitely be at its lowest level, but even at that poor and disadvantaged level, it is made very effective, powerful and efficient in your dependence on the strength from above through Christ Jesus the captain of our battle. Look at Paul’s courage and statement in times of physical weakness: “So for the sake of Christ, I am well pleased and take pleasure in infirmities, insults, hardships, persecutions, perplexities and distresses; for when I am weak [in human strength], then am I [truly] strong (able, powerful in divine strength). 2 Corinthians 12:10

Let courage rise up within you, do not wait until something happens before you desire and ask for courage, the devil might prevent what you are expecting to happen, but when he is unable to prevent you from being courageous, then what you are expecting will happen. Courage is not measured in your outer ability, or what you know, but it is measured by the God you know, the God you trust, the God you rely on, and on your self determination

Be courageous to go to God in prayer with your request despite your weakness in faith and guilt of sin. He is open and willing to accept you, He has all the power needed to forgive all form of sins, strengthen and give you the courage you need for the next day and your next level of expectation.

Like Moses, be courageous enough to go to your living Pharaoh ten times if he or she requires that or refuses to honor your first request even going before him or her with the same message – let me or my people go. Standing and speaking to Pharaoh does not require boldness, but courage and great patience, God will stand with you to fulfill His purpose if you have an inexhaustible patience to continue pressing on in life.

Like Peter, be courageous enough to go back to the same water and place again for your miracle, despite the initial disappointment and wastage of your previous time and resources at the demand of Christ word. You owe yourself joy, the devil does not owe you anything, you owe yourself deliverance, and the devil does not owe you anything. You owe yourself peace; the devil does not owe you that. When the devil throws his baggage of discomfort, and discouragement on you, be courageous enough to take it off as Paul did with the snake in Acts 28:4-6

When the Philistines wake up against you, be courageous, when the wall of Jericho stands to prevent you, be courageous, when the news today is not favorable, be courageous, another day is coming. When everyone departs from you, be courageous enough to keep going, when you reach the victory, they will come seeking your help.

This is the charge of the Lord for you today in all that you are going to do and expect “Be strong, courageous, and firm; fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is the Lord your God Who goes with you; He will not fail you or forsake you” Deuteronomy 31:5
