PRESERVED TO BE HONORED

“And God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good (suitable, pleasant) and He approved it completely.” Genesis 1:31. Preservation is what God does best to all of His creations immediately after creating them. His track record since then had been nothing but very excellent, everything He made are still existing, procreating, and doing quite well. He does this by the power of His spoken word and nothing else, and despite the words, activities, knowledge and actions of men, the word of God cannot be reversed, His actions cannot be stopped even when men deliberately twist His words over to suite their purpose a hundred times. In preserving his creations, He also preserved His throne, His kingdom, His words, you and all of us. Nothing escapes His presence, dead is not a separation from God but only a separation from man. By the power of His words, He had preserved the earth and everything in it.

God in His omniscience knew right from the beginning that His word, works and creations would be attacked, and Satan is doing just that right now. Since the day Satan was cast out from Heaven, he had focused all of his attention at destroying all that God had made. But gladly, he had not succeeded since then and will never succeed now in you. The reason for Satan’s failure is not in his lack of knowledge or will power or human and material resources to carry them out, but because there is a continuous living power in every word of God concerning everything He had made including you reading this devotional. All that God had made are preserved by His words and nothing else, that is why we believe every of His words “But He replied, It has been written, Man shall not live and be upheld and sustained by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.: Matthew 4:4. The furiousness of Satan to stand against everything God made, and all of his actions against anyone of us will never undermine the living power in the word of God concerning us and anything else.

Despite your pains and troubles, did you know that God is preserving you each day that He may bless, reward and honor you? Did not know His purpose will be done on earth and everyone will receive a reward from Him? Though many people are living as if there is nothing at stake for them or living with only problems to handle each day, God has something unique for every life He is preserving. He is continuously preserving you so you will come to have a new and joyous experience in life, something completely different from the past and new, something excellent and worth rejoicing about in life besides going through troubles, pains and anger every day.

No matter how long evil may last and people get frustrated, dreams seem delayed or prolonged excessively, no matter how long people’s rights and demands had been ignored and push aside, the day and year of God’s reward will surely come, a glorious time for your ultimate recognition, reward and honor. Know it that your reward from the Almighty God is timed and nothing can take away that timing. It may be delayed, but never destroyed. It may be delayed but never given to someone else. God is faithful to preserve you till that day and that time He had reserved to reward and to honor you.

“Knowing with all certainty that it is from the Lord and not from men, that you will receive the inheritance which is your [real] reward. [The One Whom] you are actually serving [is] the Lord Christ (the Messiah).” Colossians 3:24. “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” Matthew 24:35. Despite your confusion and many troubles, God is not preserving you for any kind of evil but for good. God is not speaking evil to you but good. He is not leading you to a place of destruction but a place of blessing, reward and honor. He is not weeping over your life, but rejoicing because He knows your end despite your present state and position. It might be tough right now, but our God is faithful, He will preserve you till the day of His blessing, reward and honor upon your life. For prayer Click here
