Post date: Jan 16, 2019 12:30:01 PM

Confidence in Christ Jesus, in His words, in His works, in the power of salvation, in the power of His love, in God’s ability and willingness through grace and the leading of the Holy Spirit might be all you need right now to overcome the pending and the coming storms in your life. Nothing will stand against the confidence of a firm believer in Christ Jesus, not a current storm, not fear, not spirits from hell, not disappointments, not discouragements, not isolations and not any form of loneliness or lack. God wants to see your confidence in Him growing while the devil wants to challenge that confidence and if he succeeds in destroying your confidence in Christ through doubts, delays, denials, intimidations, human reasonings and wisdom, trouble, confusions, and failures, then he will be able to destroy who you are and everything about and in you, he will be able to have access to stop your recovery and restoration and destroy your chances of having what you have been promised by God now and in the future. Your confidence is Christ is all you need at all trying times as a believer.

When temptation come seeking you, when you are disappointed by things and people you trusted in any way, when sickness comes to disturb your thoughts and plans, when your feelings about yourself and other things are constantly disturbed, when loneliness and fear desires to take over the control of your thoughts and actions, when the evil you never expect comes challenging you, when the people you trusted turn against you, when falsehood being spread about you, when you are rejected and all your efforts refuses to bear good results, when your efforts at reconciliation are not received, when shame wants to overcome you, and when all that the devil wants to be seen in you are humiliations, discouragements, and anger, then all that God wants to see in you is your confidence in Him and in His words and He will be there to help you, to deliver you, and to also restore you and He will not fail, while the devil wants to see your confidence destroyed so he can takeover the control of your life and the situations around you and your actions therafter. Your confidence God through Christ our Lord will keep you up, will bring you deliverance, will bring you joy after the trials, will ensure you are rescued and restored, will make a way for you to be what God said in His words and in His promises.

It takes confidence in Christ and in His words to be a true Christian, to be an effective Christian, to be a successful Christian, to be a progressing Christian, and to be a faithful and committed Christian. If your confidence fails it means it was dependent on human ideologies, wisdom, and the philosophy of earthly knowledge and not on God’s words because none of His words will ever fail and those who believe in it and holds onto it will not be disappointed. Be convinced by your confidence in His word. God will not disappoint you or give up on you. “Let your character, your moral essence, your inner nature be free from the love of money, shun greed, be financially ethical, being content with what you have; for He has said, I will never under any circumstances desert you nor give you up, nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless, nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you. So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently say, the Lord is my helper in times of need, I will not be afraid, what will mad do to me? Remember your leaders for it was they who brought you the word of God; and consider the result of their conduct, the outcome of their godly lives and imitate their faith, their conviction that God exists and is the Creator and Ruler of all things, the Provider of eternal salvation through Christ, and imitate their reliance on God with absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness. Jesus Christ is eternally changeless, always the same yesterday and today and forever. Do not be carried away by diverse and strange teachings; for it is good for the heart to be established and strengthened by grace and not by foods which bring no benefit or spiritual growth to those who observe them” Hebrews 13:5 -9.
