Hold your peace, don’t give up your hope, trust God for His will. He has a good, pleasing, and perfect will for you in every situation that must surely and definitely be done even when things are not right in our own eyes, in our own understanding, and when the pains we suffer every day is too humiliating. His will are always good, pleasing, and perfect and when finally done, we will see and have joy, we will experience greatness, we will be glad we have it, and we will rejoice in it. In Matthew 6: 10, Christ Jesus thought His disciples to pray and ask God for His will on earth “May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” in the Lord's prayer. Asking God for His will does not mean we do not have desires, we do not dreams, we should not aspire for better things in life, we should not exercise our knowledge, and use the strength He had given us. His will for us means something bigger, something better, and some divinely perfect that cannot be changed or taken away by adversities or the powers of the enemies. It means something beyond the reach of those wanting our fall, and our complete destruction.

God will is His word, God’s will is His plans, and God’s will is His desire for you always. He will defend His word, and He will perform His word; He will establish us in His will and He will establish His grace in our lives according to His will and His plans. Nothing will be taken away from it and nothing will be added to it, as long as we submit to Him in obedience to His word, walk in His righteousness and remain faithful, we will His will and have the joy we deserve. It is good to know that there is nothing evil in having a dream, a desire, and aspiring to see them fulfilled, but in aspiring for them, we should also know that God a will for us which is far better than ours. Did you know Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior had a will and desire for Himself but had to surrender them to that of the Father which was far better than His despite having to go through pains on the cross. “Father, He said if you will take this cup of suffering away from me. Not my will, however, but your will be done.” Luke 22:42

Writing about that surrendered will of Christ, Paul gave us the result and effect in the life of Christ Jesus thereafter. Remember, Christ was not compelled to give up His will or desire, He willingly gave it up in exchange for that of the Father which was far better. “Instead of this, of His own free will He gave up all He had and took the nature of a servant. He became like a human being and appeared in human likeness. He was humble and walked the path of obedience all the way to death, His death on the cross. For this reason, God raised Him to the highest place above and gave Him the name that is greater than any other name. And so, in honor of the name of Jesus all beings in heaven, on earth, and in the world below will fall on their knees, and all will openly proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:7-11. Did you read that? His will was not to take the pains on the cross, but that was God’s perfect will to make Him what He became thereafter.

When people call you a fool or failure for seeking God’s will instead of insisting on yours, God says, He has a plan for you in His will; when people condemned you for believing, following, and trusting His will to be done in your situation, God says He knows the plans He has for you in that situation and there are in His will; when people say to you, it is all over, you will never overcome this, you will never come out of that situation, God says, He knows the plans He has for you and there are in His will. When people say you are week and unable to think right or act right after spending all your time, resources, and energy on a particular situations and surrendering same after to God’s will, God says, He will do it for you because that also is in His will for you. He wants you to know that His will for you is good, it is pleasing, and it is perfect despite the cross you are called or compelled to carry and the pains.
