IN HIS ABILITY

There will always be impossibilities in the world despite our positive attitudes, impressive ideas, prayers, wealth, good credential and help from men. These impossibilities are experienced by both believers and unbelievers alike, and they are numerous. As believers, we should be very careful how we handle them, because our trust and faith are measured by our actions. Impossibilities are not meant to keep us off the cliff that God had destined for us to attain, but, it is a sure means of revealing the extraordinary power of our living God to fulfill His promises.

Oppositions are not walls of hindrances to us, but doors to the right opportunities in Christ Jesus. Every idea from God, every revelation from Him, every promise by Him, and every desire in Him, will surely require His active involvement in its fulfillment. He won’t give us anything to do and back off completely, and when we put Him off deliberately or ignorantly, we will definitely not be able to implement those dreams and revelations despite our sincere efforts, wealth of knowledge, and commitment. This is where most of us experience delays and denials; going without God and refusing to hold back when He ask us to, until we hit the wall. The devil will always seek to frustrate, delay, destroy or deny everything that is of God without seeing God in it. When he sees God in you without seeing Him in the project you are engaged in, he will resist it, but when he sees God in you and in what you do, all his schemes against it will be defeated by the God that he sees in you and in the project. “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, with men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. Matthew 19:26

God will not give you a dream or a vision when He knows you are capable of achieving one without Him. He will not give you a revelation when He knows you know it already. When He does that in such instances, it is to remind and encourage you to take on His investment in you.

The advantage we have as believers beside the hope of eternal life hereafter is the peace God gives every day in everything through Christ Jesus. Trusting God is not foolishness or a sign of physical weakness, it is because He has everything we will ever need and with Him we can achieve our desires. All the promises of God are impossible without Him and if you are a Christian, know it that He is always with you in good times and in bad times.

If you cannot trust God in bad and hard times, you will not be able to trust Him in good times. We need to always learn to rest ourselves in His ability in all situations. It is what you do in good times and in bad times that tells what type of Christian you are. We should all know that shame is not part of the package of our salvation despite the delays, difficulties, disappointments, and denials we will ever come to experience. If God permits any form of denials in our desires and efforts, He has a better alternative in mind to give us, rest in His ability to lead you and to keep you safe till He unveil the blessings in the better opportunity. In His ability, He leads the blind on the right path despite impossibilities, difficulties, and delays to their rightful destinations.

“Let them give glory unto the Lord, and declare his praise in the islands. The Lord shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies. I have long time holden my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself: now will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once. I will make waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs; and I will make the rivers islands, and I will dry up the pools. And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them”. Isaiah 42:12-16
