WHEN GUILT BUILDS UP INSIDE

When guilt sets into your life for no justifiable reason, know that the devil is at work against you and is plotting to trap you at something; is marking you down for his use, for his condemnation and is working for you to withdraw from achieving and pursuing what God had already done or promised or is about to do for you in a short time. When guilt sets in, the powers of darkness is closing up on you and trying to cloud your good mind with bad feelings, your good thoughts with aimless wishes, your dreams with fantasy, your visions with wrong ideas, your expectations with frustrations and to stop your desires of attaining the high point of the redemptive grace and power and forgiveness that Christ Jesus your Lord gave you on the cross through the shedding of His precious blood for you. Guilt always comes with regrets and fear and terrifying thoughts.

God has no intent to leave you feeling guilty, unwanted, unqualified, and unacceptable and bad either in the physical or in the spiritual and either inside or outside of you irrespective of what had happened previously or are happening right now to you and irrespective of the nature and source of the news coming into your ears. It is God’s ultimate desire and joy that you are saved and free from sin and guilt. It is the devil’s continuous intent, desire and joy to keep and to see you perpetually feeling guilty, unwanted, unqualified and bad every time, every day and in everything irrespective of what you have done or trying to do to be free from such feelings. The devil seeks to keep you feeling guilty irrespective of the level of encouragement from the words of God and the presence of other Christians around you, and irrespective of your fasting, prayer and worship and praise of the Almighty God. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, God had made all things possible for you to get pass such feelings; He had made all provisions for you to be guilt free, to be sort after for good, to be qualified and acceptable as a man or a woman; your God had finished all that you will necessarily need to get such feelings behind you for good and to move forward to greater things in Him and through Him.

Guilt holds you backward, reminds you of your previous days and ways in sin and evil; forces you to forget the power in the blood of Jesus Christ and the covenant therein; guilt makes you blame, curse, condemn, withdraw from your dreams and aspirations, drop your expectations and remain pitied and wanting at all times. When guilt builds up, know that all of your past sins; all of your wrong doings; and whatever guilt that had and will ever emanate from your previous deeds and activities were defeated on the cross and taken away on the day you wholeheartedly accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord and savior; it was defeated the day you sincerely repented of your sins and wicked deeds and the day you deliberately ask God for forgiveness. On the day that God gave you salvation, He did not leave your guilt behind; He deliberately set you free from all guilt that will follow irrespective of the number of times that the devil will come to remind you and seek to torment your life because of the past. When guilt sets in, tell the devil you had been set free, you had been delivered, you had been washed clean and you had been changed for good the rest of your life forever.

When guilt sets in, remember you have been redeemed, tell the devil you cannot go back; you cannot be held back; you cannot turn back to your previous ways. Tell the devil you had gone over that since and will never be drawn to it again; tell the devil to leave your thoughts alone, to leave your mind to meditate on the words and promises of God; tell the devil he is knocking on the wrong door, he trying the wrong person and he is at danger for trying to condemn the person that God had imputed no condemnation. We are reminded in the scriptures that: “Therefore there is now no condemnation, no guilty verdict, no punishment for those who are in Christ Jesus, who believe in Him as personal Lord and Savior. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.” Romans 8:1-2. For prayers, Click here
