HOW CHRISTIANS BECOME CONFUSED

Confusion, irrespective of its magnitude, severity, and subject matter, is schedule by the devil to hold back the things that God had freely given to you; the good dreams, visions, desires and the prayers you have been working hard to achieve in a godly way. Confusion is a dangerous serious demonic and spiritual weapon used against believers as they follow their faith daily and it seeks to limit or completely stop their level success and aspirations. It is an evil but effective weapon against all forms of spiritual and physical success and progress in one’s life. It opens the door to all forms evil afflictions intended by the devil. It gives rise to self-torture, suspicion, rejection, blames, self-condemnation, withdrawal, distrust and mistrust. Confusion signifies the inroad of the devil and his evil agents into your life with the intent of destruction of that which is good and acceptable and approved by God for you and that is the reason you need to stand to fight all forms of confusion in your life with the words and promises of God. “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but He has given us a spirit of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline, abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control.” 1 Timothy 1:7

Irrespective of the confusion that may rise up in you, God had already given you the victory in His words and in His several promises. Confusion comes gradually and takes a period of time to take its full hold in the life of a Christian. Confusion did not come because you have an empty dream but because you have a dream that is true; it came because you had life transforming and true vision about yourself and your situation; it did not come because of laziness or idle hands, that is what the confusion intends to leave behind. Most of the things that Christians are confused about are as a result of the manipulation of the devil to keep them from actualizing all the good things God had already approved for them in His words and in His promises.

Confusion comes when we experience undue delays in our lives and faith expectations; when all our sincere efforts are not yielding the expected result. When the spouse we pray for and wait on God for is not forth coming and age is catching up on us fast. Confusion comes when conception is delayed in our marriages; when our expected date and time are not met; when our income does not meet our expenditure and when our income is far below our level of education and training; when the evil people around us seem more powerful and more prosperous despite their known wickedness and our righteousness does not reflect in the things we do daily. Confusion comes when we are constantly on the receiving side of bad things despite the confession of Jesus Christ as our only Lord and savior. Confusion comes after spending years in the labor market without a good job despite being over qualified and well experienced; it comes when our spouses and children are getting out of the hands and control of God by their actions; it comes when we are overwhelmed with unfruitful activities; when our enemies rises up against us without reason, and when our situations refuses to change after approving our actions according to the words of God; confusion comes when our issues, weaknesses, inabilities and our failure becomes the only talk in our families and within our neighborhood.

Christians should know that they can overcome all forms of confusion in their lives irrespective of the magnitude and duration of the confusion only through the grace and power of Jesus Christ their Lord and savior; they should know that before confusion came in the things that concerns their health, welfare, children, spouse, family and relationship, God had finished the plans for their victory, success and redemption from its captivity. “Do not be afraid. Take your stand, be firm and confident and undismayed and see the salvation of the Lord which He will accomplish for you; for those Egyptians whom you have seen today, you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you while you only need to keep silent and remain calm.” Exodus 14:13-14. Click here for prayer.
