NEVER QUIT, NEVER SURRENDER

Do not allow your eyes and your thoughts take you away from your destined success in life and in what you are doing right now. Do not allow them make you quit pressing on and surrender your future. Do not allow them to form clouds of doubts and fear around you. Do not allow them to stop you from believing in the promise, praying on the promise and trusting your God. Your day of victory, joy and fulfillment is getting closer than the day you began praying and trusting God for success. This is the word of God for you today; despite what your eyes are seeing and what your thoughts are pondering about, you are definitely getting closer to the days you have been told in the spirit, desired in the physical, and you have been working hard to see manifested. Men will definitely disappoint you along the way, give you false promises and misuse you in many ways, but your God will never let you down, He will not leave you there indefinitely.

Every little effort, prayer, love, endurance, perseverance, and actions towards the fulfillment of God plans, your desires and that of any individual are never wasted, they are well documented and kept in high esteem by our Lord Jesus Christ for you, and soon, you (not others) will hear a voice of confirmation and fulfillment from Him, if you fail to quit and fail to surrender.

“And behold, some men were bringing on a stretcher a man who was paralyzed, and they tried to carry him in and lay him before Jesus. But finding no way to bring him in because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him with his stretcher through the tiles into the midst, in front of Jesus. And when He saw their confidence in Him, springing from their faith, He said, Man, your sins are forgiven you. And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason and question and argue, saying, who is this [Man] who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone? But Jesus, knowing their thoughts and questionings, answered them, why do you question in your hearts? Which is easier: to say, your sins are forgiven you, or to say, Arise and walk [about]?” Luke 5:18-23. Refusing to quit is holding on to the promises despite the odds.

This man was truly sick and incapable of doing anything, but the friends knew they could do what he could not do, carry him to Christ for healing and they did. These friends were confident of success despite the obstruction of the crowd, the pains of lifting their friend, and the contrary words of men around. They needed their friend to be healed despite what they were physically seeing in him and the contrary thoughts of others. One thing these friends had in common was their confidence that they will succeed in their mission and they decided never to quit, taking the pains and seeing their joy fulfilled. Because you will be resisted, every move you will ever make in life towards a desire, a dream and a promise will surely need your confidence of success.

When the crowd became an obstacle to them, they decided to climb through the rooftop to complete their mission. They decided never to quit because of the crowd but to press on. What is your decision when you meet obstacles, quit? These men were ready to pay the cost of replacing the roof. You are not alone on the road to success, many are there before you, the road is crowed, but as you decide never to quit God will surely give you a better idea on how to overcome the crowd. Many of us do not believe we are making progress each day. We believe in God, but do not believe in the little grace and ability that we have. Many of us do not see ourselves moving towards the goals of God for our lives, and we do not see ourselves achieving those desires. Permit me to say, you are being deceived by your own eyes and thoughts. God told Ezekiel:

“And you, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words; though briers and thorns are all around you and you dwell and sit among scorpions, be not afraid of their words nor be dismayed at their looks, for they are a rebellious house.” Ezekiel 2:6. You might be thinking your little effort is not enough to take you to your desires, they are, never quit. Hold on to your confidence in success, God will give you the fulfillment you desire from Him.
