YOU WILL NOT END THERE

“Truly this was the Son of God” Matthew 27:54b. Those were the words of those soldiers sent to guard Jesus Christ on the cross after observing what happened with their eyes; those were the words of those sent by the authority to torture Him before and on the cross; those were the words of those sent to ensure He did not get His freedom or escape the torture after being hanged; those were the words of those sent to ensure all that were humanly abominable and uncomfortable was done against Him; and those were the words of those observing close-by and at a distant to see what will truly happen to Jesus Christ on the cross after remembering He told them clearly He was the Son the God. Did you know the devil and all his agents sent to observe you, guard you, test you, tempt you, and try you, to ensure you do not move forward, you are not free, you are not able to meet your dreams, visions and desire, and those standing to see what will happen to you will also say concerning you? They will say this after seeing what God will do in your life despite the cross; this is a true son or daughter of God.

Whatever the devil will ever do against you, whatever cross you are called to carry as a Christian and whatever place the devil will ever force you to remain will never be your final place in life because God has a destiny for you that is far better than what you have now and where you are now. You may have been forced to carry your cross or the cross of others, but you will not end up on that cross; your journey in life is definitely far beyond that cross. It is painful, shameful, annoying, humiliating, unexpected, sadden, repulsive, hateful, detestable, repulsive, disgusting, sickening, abnormal, abominable, reprehensible, damnable, horrible, and nasty, what the devil is doing against you, but whatever the name and the case may be, you will definitely end well, you will definitely not end poorly or badly as they had anticipated or in the place of torture that will ever leave you. You will not end in the same spot where the devil had left you, irrespective of what they have done and will ever do to you and against you, you will not end there, because Jesus Christ did not end His life and mission on the cross despite suffering on the cross.

You may have cried on your cross as Christ did because of the pains, delays, frustration, shame, discouragement and loneliness as Christ did, but you will also rejoice after the cross as Christ did also. These were the things that Christ Jesus suffered on the cross: wrong judgment despite being innocent of all charges; swapping of person and judgment despite being guiltless and righteous. Crucified on a cross for a crime He never committed; whipped for doing nothing wrong to any of the people; mocked for accepting to suffer for others; stripped naked for doing no wrong; crown of thorn was placed on His head as sign of mockery and that caused more harm to His person on the head; He was ridiculed and spited upon; stricken repeatedly with the thorn, forced to carry a cross; offered wine mixed with gall to drink, and divided His cloths and finally buried Him. Though these things were painful and shameful, those who did that to Him lived to see and also to testify to what God did to Him after they had finished their punishment. Soon through grace, you will leave the cross behind; you will move ahead to higher blessings, you will testify to the truth of God’s goodness and mercies; you will tell the story to those around and those outside, and through you and your testimony, many will come to follow and believe in Jesus Christ.

“Do not worry because of evildoers, nor be envious toward wrongdoers; for they will wither quickly like the grass, and fade like the green herb. Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and petitions of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him also and He will do it. He will make your righteousness like the light, and your judgment like the noonday. Be still before the Lord; wait patiently for Him and entrust yourself to Him; do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who carries out wicked.” Psalm 37:1- 7. Click here
