LORD HELP, I AM CONFUSED

You are definitely not alone in this state of confusion; you are not alone seeking direction on what to do and what not to do in order to be free and get your peace fully restored; you are not alone wondering what actually went wrong in your life before and what is wrong now; you are not alone seeking help and deliverance from what is happening around you. There many more people like you battling confusion every day and everywhere. This confusion is not limited to the poor alone, the rich are also confused; it is not limited to those who have nothing to feed on, but those who have everything to eat and to spare also; it is not limited to those who are single and unmarried, those who are engaged and married are also confused.

It is not limited to the homeless alone; those with big homes are also confused. It is not limited to those in slumps alone, those in exotic locations are also having their own level of confusion. It is not limited to those with children alone; those without children have their own level confusion to deal with every day. Those with good jobs, in great positions and locations are also having their own share of confusion. Confusion is a global epidemic because people in every profession and every nation under the heavens are suffering from confusion. There are more questions than answers today in every field of learning, but despite these confusions, God is never confused, and will never leave those who rely on Him for solution and deliverance in their days of trouble.

We are in the age where the very best of human intelligence, knowledge, understanding, wealth and human help are never adequate to free man from confusion in life. Despite the increase in knowledge, advancement in technology and new scientific breakthroughs in almost every field of science every day, did you notice that everyone is confused about some things in their lives? Things they have no answer for, no solution to offer and no idea of how, when and what they result will be? Confusion in physical and spiritual things is fast becoming a global epidemic and only God can deliver man from it, and He had made provisions through His words to show us what to do next and be free from the effect of the confusion.

The worst things to happen to a person in life is to be confused in times of trouble without being able to receive adequate help; to loss ones peace in times of confrontation and trial without hope and trust of what will happen next, to be alone without any one to offer an idea on what will happen next and what to do right away. The great and the not so great all have experienced a certain level of confusion in their lives. The good news is, an absolute trust and reliance in Christ Jesus is the only true solution to human confusion.

When Kings David was confused, and his counselors were failing, he consulted men and got the solution he needed. He said: “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.” Psalm 121:1-8. In time of confusion, turn to the Lord for guidance and His words for direction, He will not fail you.

Remember when Pharaoh was confused concerning his two dreams; he consulted Daniel who took it to the Lord in prayer. When Daniel was confused when he was to be thrown into the den of lions, he decided to pray; when King Saul was confused, he consulted with Samuel for direction and guidance. “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.” Proverbs 3:5-7. For prayers, Click here
