GOING BEYOND SALVATION

Post date: Jan 17, 2013 5:10:43 AM

There is every grace in Christ Jesus to make you better, successful and completely transformed. There is every grace to change things in and around you, to give you the victory you deserve, the love you crave for, and the peace you so much desire. There is an unending door of grace open for you, to take you beyond the point of salvation to a higher level of the blessings from God. Paul said “let us go” to something higher in Christ Jesus. “Therefore let us go on and get past the elementary stage in the teachings and doctrine of Christ, advancing steadily toward the completeness and perfection that belong to spiritual maturity. Let us not again be laying the foundation of repentance and abandonment of dead works dead formalism and of the faith by which you turned to God. With teachings about purifying, the laying on of hands, the resurrection from the dead, and eternal judgment and punishment. These are all matters of which you should have been fully aware long, long ago.” Hebrews 6:1-2

Going beyond salvation is seeking to be matured, useful, very relevant, and going beyond the ordinary in relating to and with Christ Jesus. The grace that brings us salvation is the same grace that brings the blessing and the peace in Christ. The greatest advantage of a genuine godly repentance is that it opens the door that ultimately leads one to receiving salvation through grace in Christ Jesus. At this point, you become renewed and begun enjoying the working presence of the Spirit of the Almighty God in your life in an amazing way, completely transforming your thoughts and life desires, giving you both spiritual and physical renewal, hope and assurance.

The desire of our Almighty Father is that you will completely refuse to end your Christian journey at the cross of daily repentance and regrets of your past sins. You will desire to advance your new found relationship with Him, you will rake in more benefits, spiritual and physical growth and energy, you will learn, and earn more knowledge of His love and obtain more and greater victories in life. You cannot know God, stay in, and with Him, and still remain the same.

Moving beyond Salvation is not going out of the realm and influence of God, but diligently taking advantage of the several resources that He had freely made available for your daily use. These resources are specifically designed to ensure you are horizontal and vertical developed, kept saved and productive. Going beyond salvation is a desire you must develop independently and nurture to be what Christ actually wants you to be. God wants you, (every of His child) to grow in every aspect of life. Not to remain where you were and not to recede from where you were before coming to Him. God desires to see a clear difference that in you every day.

By going beyond salvation, you begin experiencing the growth that will touch others positively, influence others effectively, and bring others to a point of praise and salvation. Spiritual and physical growth is inevitable as a Christian; it is not a second option but a first priority, you cannot grow in the spiritual and fail to grow in the physical.

Spiritual growth is just like physical growth, they require submission and compliance to some laid down principles. Crops cannot grow except it is buried on the earth and left there for a period of time, adequately watered and fertilized. God want us to grow in His amazing grace, in His knowledge of what is good and concentrating to doing them, and in the recognition of His person as only Lord and savior. God will give you the grace for the change you prayed for in life.

“Let me warn you therefore, beloved, that knowing these things beforehand, you should be on your guard, lest you be carried away by the error of lawless and wicked [persons and] fall from your own [present] firm condition [your own steadfastness of mind]. But grow in grace (undeserved favor, spiritual strength) and recognition and knowledge and understanding of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (the Messiah). To Him [be] glory (honor, majesty, and splendor) both now and to the day of eternity. Amen (so be it)” 2 Peter 3:17-18. For prayers Click here
