Before the journey out of Egypt, Moses never knew God will take them to and through the RedSea, he never knew God will take them to and through the wilderness, he never knew forty days walk will turn to forty years, he never knew God will open the Red Sea and never knew they could survive the wilderness, all that Moses knew and remembered was God telling him to go and tell Pharaoh to let His people go forty days and worship Him and Moses trusted the word he heard, announce it to the elders of Israel, confronted Pharaoh with the message and God being with them, gave him victory, they began the journey to their subsequent freedom, but because God knew His plans for them and knew the way that they will be protected throughout, He took them along His path and He was with them and His promise to Abraham and Moses was making things happen in their favor despite the challenges from Pharoah, the hindrance of the Red Sea, the wondering and hardship in the wilderness.

Even in, and through impossible situations, God had proven Himself as strong, able, and willing to do miraculous things that will amaze men in unimaginable ways. He has done that before to the children of Israel and others before us, He is doing it now and will continue till the day of Christ is manifested on earth the second time. “Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing, now it will spring forth; will you not be aware of it? I will even put a road in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert. The beasts of the field will honor Me, Jackals and ostriches, Because I have given waters in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to My people, My chosen. The people whom I formed for Myself will make known My praise.” Isaiah 43:19-21. I will make a way where there is no way, where there had been no way, where there are impossibilities, where there are fears and uncertainties, where hope had been lost, and where all possible efforts had failed to yield expected result says the Lord.

Before He went to deliver the message to Pharoah, all that Moses knew was that God appeared to him in form of a burning bush, God spoke to him openly and he heard, God sent him to deliver His message concerning the children of Israel to Pharaoh and whatever will happen next was not known by Moses and there were up to God and God did not fail Himself, did not fail Moses, did not fail the children of Isreal and did not fail in His promise despite the red sea, the wilderness, the battles, the hunger, the thirst and the long period of time spent in the journey. That is how faithful our God is and will ever remain. He is loving, He is the promise keeper and He is the Almighty God. “I will go before you and level the mountains; I will shatter the doors of bronze and cut through the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness, the hoarded treasures and the hidden riches of secret places, so that you may know that it is I, the Lord, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name. For the sake of Jacob My servant, and of Israel My chosen, I have also called you by your name; I have given you an honorable name though you have not known Me. I am the Lord, and there is no one else; there is no God except Me. I will embrace and arm you, though you have not known Me, that people may know from the rising to the setting of the sun the world over that there is no one except Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other, the One forming light and creating darkness, causing peace and creating disaster; I am the Lord who does all these things. Rain down, O heavens, from above, let the clouds pour down righteousness, all the blessings of God; let the earth open up, let salvation bear fruit, and righteousness spring up with it; I the Lord, have created it.” Isaiah 45:2-8

The Lord said I have in fact seen the affliction of My people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters; for I know their pain and suffering. So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a land that is good and spacious, to a land flowing with milk and honey.” Exodus 3:7-8.
