"AND GOD WENT TO WAR (1)"

God is full of mercy, patience, and love, He is faithful and does not desire anyone should die or be destroyed and He is also a God of war, mighty in battle with weapons that nothing physical or spiritual can stop and power that cannot be hindered. He is perfect in everything and precise in His actions. He is the God of justice and will not punish the innocent. He is the only true God who is able to humble the proud without being hindered. Before God will go to war, He will give men several warning over time, He will show and extend His hands of love, He will exercise His patience and commitment to save, and He will give many chances for repentance, forgiveness, correction, acceptance of His words and plea and for a decisive change of action. It is at the refusal of God’s several advances and admonition by men that He will then act in war. Such wars are to bring them to His knowledge, to the fear of His presence and power, and to the acceptance of His sovereignty. Men in their pride, wealth, position and power are regarding and thinking of themselves above all others and above God. They have ignorantly placed the Almighty God in a second or third position after themselves and have lost all feelings and understanding of whom and what God is and what His desires for all men are on earth. Some have no place for God in their lives and are acting as though nothing can stop them, but God can and He will. Pharaoh was one of them and Nebuchadnezzar and Ahab are our good example.

The gospel we have is an expression of God’s love and His promises to every human being; the preaching of the true gospel of God is to highlight God’s warning to humanity, to prepare the people for the Lord and to give men the opportunity for second chances. The sovereignty of God will not be compromised by the feelings, knowledge, wealth, wisdom and understanding of men in their best or worse state of mind. All men should realize that God is sovereign and He is Good to those who will in their willingness accept Jesus Christ as their only Lord and Savior, follow His words, abide in His ways, and believe His teachings throughout their lives. God is superior in all things, He is supreme in power and in authority, He is independent of all things and does not need any assistance, He is in control of the entire world and everything in it and everything that will ever be in it. The God we serve has no limitations; there is absolutely nothing that will happen in the universe that is outside of God’s influence and authority.

Our God is far above all things, before all things, and He is immortal. He knows all things past, present and future; there is no limit to His knowledge, to His power, and to His ability to do whatever He wants to do because He knows everything before they happen and knows all men in every place. Be assured that our God will do what He wants to do, He can do all things, and He will definitely accomplish all things according to His plans and purpose for your life. Nothing had been and nothing will ever be too difficult for Him, if the hindrances refuse to leave your life and to obey His words, He will declare a war with them and He will have the victory. Jeremiah 32:17-21 “O Sovereign Lord, You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you, You show unfailing love to thousands, but you also bring the consequences of one generation’s sin upon the next. You are the great and powerful God, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. You have all wisdom and do great and mighty miracles. You see the conduct of all people, and you give them what they deserve. You performed miraculous signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, things still remembered to this day, and you have continued to do great miracles in Israel and all around the world. You have made your name famous to this day. You brought Israel out of Egypt with mighty signs and wonders, with a strong hand and powerful arm, and with overwhelming terror.” This is the promise “The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.” Exodus 14:14. For prayers Click here
