“MY GOD IS CHANGING THINGS”

Post date: May 26, 2017 5:48:08 AM

Irrespective of what is going on in the world, the God we serve is changing things; He is turning things around; He will change and turn thing around for you. There is no one on earth without a weakness, a mistake, a sin, or a fault, but despite all your limitations, the love of God for you is still inexhaustible, unending and renewed every moment of the day. Though sin separates us from God, it does not separate God from us. Even in your weakest moments and disappointing times, God still loves, cares and is still asking that you look unto Him. God is not looking for your perfection in order to bless you; He is asking that you rely on and claim the perfection of Christ Jesus for your next moves in life but that is not a license to continue in sin. He is not asking for righteousness to open the door of grace and blessings; asking that you claim the righteousness of Christ when you stand before Him and before men. It is claiming that which Christ had given to you that will make you sinless, faultless, acceptable and righteous before Him.

Even in your greatest weaknesses and sins, God still love you; even in your painful and lonely moments, God still loves you; even in the darkest of the night, when no one is present but you and you alone, when no one cares or show any form of concern, God is there with you showing His love. We read in Romans 5:8-9 “But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation.” Despite your thoughts, disappointments, frustrations and indebtedness to God, to self, and to others, God still loves you and only through His amazing love that you will be able to stand up and make progress despite all the odds against you. You have come to hate yourself, not for the wrongs you know because of what is happening. These are acts that are beyond your control and you have turned it against yourself negatively and building inner bitterness, but your God is changing things.

That inner bitterness will stop; that fear will stop; that neglect and loneliness and anger will stop; that fear will not control you again because God is changing things and will also change you for the best. Stop hating yourself, but hate your sins; stop the bitterness inside, God does not hate you and will not hate you because of anything, He only hates the sin not you. To think that God hates you for any reason is a lie that you need to overcome now. God is changing you and will also change the things around you. Your weaknesses and mistakes, the squabbles and frictions with people and institutions and whatever the devil is throwing at you will fail; you will receive the grace to overcome weaknesses and mistakes; you will receive grace to rise again; that grace in His love is available for you today. You may have fallen a hundred times over, yet God still loves you and will raise you up again. You may have slipped in words, thoughts, and actions a hundred times over, yet God still loves you and will give you the grace to get up and keep going again. That same grace that was upon Paul is also made available for you now.

“Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. And God’s peace which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge, to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.” 2 Corinthians 12:6-10. Philippians 4:7, John 3:17. God loves you; He will change you and change things for you for good. Nothing will stop you. For prayers Click here
